it got a spreadsheet where you need to fill in all your buildings and the production time.. at the front page of it, it'll show you if you need to build another (for example) farm or coal plant, to have(and keep) enough materials in your storage to progress further in-game.
Cheers for the links all. The spreadsheet is especially helpful.

I can not stress how good the resource calculator is. It is a MUST HAVE for all players who are interested in seeing their production values.

the resource calculator English excel spreadsheet is really useful - one thing to note though - where it says "To enter information for your buildings click on the building icon to the right" - it should say left as that's the direction the buttons are and your arrow is pointing to
Added a new guide in the guide section..

At first I thought it might be a bit redundant and too similar to other guides... but in fact I quite like it ;)

here is a big list of guides from castle empire. maybe some can be used as reference
http://forum.castleempireonline.com/threads/13342-Guide-List-Big-list-of-Guides-Tools-and-Other-Resources-for-CEO-Players
what about the combat guide
edit: i did put in a link but its not appearing to me.. is it appearing to anyone else ?
Graywolf's Resource Calculator is totally excellent. I can only imagine how much time was spent in designing it. Unfortunately there is one problem with it. When you read it using LibreOffice (or presumably OpenOffice which is very similar) the graphics are slightly displaced, and they cover up some of the critical information that the spreadsheet calculates. I do not know how to remove the graphics, and I gather that the production summary page has been write-protected. I realise that it's a lot to ask, but if there is any chance at all that Graywolf could make another edition without graphics, that would be really great.
With todays upgrade I do feel our [FWB] Goods and adventure price list (www.tinyurl.com/NFtrade) fits in there as well.

This was already mentioned earlier but I do have a need to point out that this one gives better results and that it should be given bigger attention.
Tested!
What do I mean by better results?
Maximum loss (not average!) on castleemp resulted in lost battle. In halophp, simulated battle was won! So I attacked no matter what castle's combat sim showed / predicted lost battle - and guess what? I did have max. loss and I won the fight!
Never ever used castle after that... I may be wrong, I may have seen something that was not there etc. - just saying, that halophp is of equal use, if not even more than castleempirism, and it SURELY deserves a link in your original post, Mr. Azariel.
Best,
Ham

hi just to let you know that DSO-Mastertools no longer works since the last Settlers update!!
Hi,
I would just like to add this Link:
http://forum.diesiedleronline.de/threads/42856-Shan-s-Taktikkarten-Compendium
It's a list of Adventure maps, what kind of troops you need, where to place your Generals. Shandrogar updates the page from time to time. There's no need to be able to read German, the maps are self explaining.

Regarding the Settlers wiki guide to taking all land from bandits, in zone 7 there is a way of placing generals camp so that you only need fight 2 camps + bandit leader camp. Placed in nearly far north west it is possible to skip first 3 camps (proximity to border) and go straight a camp deep within the zone 7. The 2 camps plus leader camp are on a direct line avoiding all other camps if general camp placed carefully in NW zone 4. Its not mentioned in wiki guide and it should be.

You can edit the wiki guide, it is open to all players and actually created by the community.
These are good points, I encourage you to do so.

Lose some useful loot doing that though, which you will probably need at that stage.
