Question about Storehouses

Is there a limit per item that can be stored for example 1000 wood 1000 stone,or is it a limit of X amount of resources no matter what they are?

Penny when you have your storehouse open and hover any resources you will see the limit. seems a basic storahouse is + 100 per (basic resources)

if you hover over stone for example it will say 700/700, that means you can't store any more. I think the mayors house stores 500 and each additional storehouse 100

I have upgraded a storehouse and now Mayors House and both my upgraded level 2 storehouse and the other level 1 storehouse hold 1100 units. Do I next upgrade from level 2 to level 3 or upgrade the level 1 storehouse?

cheapest way is upgrade your lvl 1 storehouse. and they all got shared storagespace efco.

if you upgrade the lvl 1 it will add +100 storage so you will have 1200 when the upgrade is complete.

Well, every warehouse level 1 gives +100 storage capacity
is increasing as the level increases the capacity.

Level 1 = +100
Level 2 = +400 (previous 100) = +500 total
Level 3 = +1000 (previous 500) = +1500 Total
Level 4 = + +1500 (before 1500) = +3000 Total
Level 5 = + +3000 (before 3000) = +6000 total

So if you have two warehouses
one of the first level and another at level 2, the capacity will be.

Level 1 = 100
Level 2 = 500
TOTAL = 600 capacity

If its capacity is 600, so you can store 600 of each item.
