So things look a bit better now than they did couple of hours ago. At least we got things running and sorted out, now the internal tests can begin. If they are successful we will setup all servers "correctly" again and run tests for functionality. This means however that you can't expect the servers before tomorrow. Our IT is working overtime overnight, so please give them the time to fix this 100%
You should "like it" if you wanna be up to date.

The game is still offline while they complete the maintenance, this forum only came back online a short while ago,

Not much anyone can do but wait till they've finished fixing the game servers.

http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/14949-Server-Problems-Status-Update?p=165962#post165962<-- please have a look here ! It's not known aswell how long the website and forum will remain up, if it interferes with the problems I mentioned in the post, most likely both will be taken offline again.
