hello,
because of the maintenance yesterday i couldn't login.
today i can login but but because of the maintenance i now miss a login bonus from yesterday.
is there something you can do about that.

i ve got nothing for two days :( It shows X for yester day bonus and X for today's.

I missed two days too, I also knocked a few buildings but didnt get my licences back, I am not complaining just letting you know as you asked. Thanks for all your hard work getting the game back up.

Having said that the game is working fine so far, and Settlers have been busy throughout! Thanks for getting everything back online - great work, and to the techies who worked hours to do this - you're stars!

Figured I'd start this up so everyone can toss in a buck if they experience any difficulties considering we can't reply to the main thread. :p
So far, the chat works smoothly. Although the Daily login bonus is missing entirely from being rewarded. No problems with buffing/visiting friends myself.
Edit ; Whispers turn a bit messy when trying to scroll in Firefox. The latest whisper gets cut off and you can't see your own message until a new whisper comes from the other person. May just be a bug and non-related but still. Figured I'd mention it.

i tried yesterday and could not log in,and when i did i received no bonus for yesterday or today both were marked with a X,can i still receive my bonuses please thank you
Im using FF and no issues at all with whispers,had 4 running at once can scroll in them all,and no text appears to be missing
No problems with whisper either, trades (through the trade tab next to chat/help) works like normal, have no tried a direct trade yet with another user.
Merged the 3 threads on this topic in order to keep all information about this issue in one place. Thank you all for being so helpful and understanding! :)

My bad! Hadn't seen the other two threads. :( That's what you get for trying to post a thread, while chatting and being distracted.
Buffing (friends): must buff 3 times before it really does.
Visiting friends: game crashes every time, musy relog. 2. time it lets me visit my friends.
Adventures: still on a treasure hunt
Daily Login Bonus : need for the 2 last days (x marked)
Chat, Trade : chat working fine, cant rade yet (lvl16)
Hi everyone, my first post so here goes:
So far:
Visiting friends - All i get is the window where you are connecting but it hangs there and you don't see friends settlement (have to logout and log in again to clear).
Buffing (friends) - N/A as I have not been able to get that far.
Adventures - N/A as I have not gone into one yet so I could not comment.
Daily login bonus - This i actually received, probably due to the fact I received the previous one dead on 2am London time.
Chat/Trade - Chat seems fine so far for me, but N/A on trade as I haven't build the trade place yet.
Other observations include:
Connection to server lost - happens approx every 5-10 mins. boots me out to the play now screen but does not actually log me off.
Applying buffs to own buildings - seems to take quite awhile from clicking on, to it being applied (up to 10 seconds in some cases).
Receiving mail - When notified about new mail then opening up mail tab, it is not always being shown, e.g defeat bandit camp.. new mail, check it, nothing is actually there, refreshing normally resolves this (last 2 may be down to connection lost or being between losses).
The message about browser cache being full - cannot remember specific message but I use Firefox primarily and have it set so on close it clears my cache/cookies, and i don't normally have many tabs open at any one time.
That is about it for now but i think, but i am keeping note. Thank you

so far only problem thet i came to is: Visiting friends, 7 of 10 visits end up crashing game and reloging.
Buffing (friends) working fine
Adventures: dont know
Daily login bonus: worked fine
Chat/Trade: working fine
I got the daily bonus when I logged in.
When I tried to visit a friend, it said the map couldn't be loaded and put me back to the play now screen.
Also missed login bonus :(

i cant trade with anyone, but seems the buff works okey for me
I tried to rearrange my buildque but now it seems messed up. I have a farm not showing up in the que and it's not building it self.
I also tried to rearrange the priority but when I clicked the up arrow on my bottom building it jumped up, then down and then all the buttons in the que got inactivated.

I have missed out on the bonus stuff. So if you are feeling gen and have got five min. please can you give our days back . i have missed not been able to go online and deal with my little settlers. So guess what i reloaded all of the other ones on my laptop pushed off the dust and had a ball. Just waited till you guys fixed the bugs. Once again thanks for this keep up the good work and i hope there is more to come.

So far not noticed a lot of bugs in game except for the login bonus that everyone is commenting on.

Visting friends for me is fine, and so is buffing, though as Neowolf said, it can take up to 10 seconds to see the animation.
Applying buffs to own buildings - seems to take quite awhile from clicking on, to it being applied (up to 10 seconds in some cases).
Whisper works fine and so does trade. I've brought an offer and it was accepted, I recieved the items.
I have heard players in-game mentioning the percentage it takes to build something is in the hundreds - 400% +. Another bug I believe.
The other problem others and I have noticed is the licenses. They seem to jump to full at some points in the game for no reason. After a refresh it usually fixes it, but I've also witnessed the licenses going up to full, then after 20 or so seconds, they show the amount you had previously.
It's not destroying game play and I'm sure the community is pleased with the hard work the team has put into the game so far, and into rectifying these bugs. I know I am.
Thanks again for all the feedback, we are looking into the missing daily bonusses. As mentioned before we will be giving out a compensation on Monday, and we will surely take the lost daily bonusses into account.

i'm counting 79 buildings, out of 81 licenses being used,but no biggie, just some of them are missing, i'm sure it will get fixed :)
The only problem I've had, was when I used a 100 hardwood planks reward, I applied it to the Mayor's house, the pop up massage said 100 hardwood planks had been added, but they didn't get added.
If you stop production in a building can take up to a minute to register the fact.
havent been visiting friends alot so the only thing i noticed is my daily log-in rewards is missing.
Loving the game sofar and im still in learning stage (lvl16)
Game works fine now, slight lagg in buffing. Missing 2 days of daily reward.
visiting friends seems OK, buffing their buildings works, a little slow perhaps but not really a problem
No log-in bonus
I didn't reciwed any reward today coursed the server-mantainig.

Well I got no bonus for yesterday, nor today. Whispers seem to work. Can't test trade yet as I'm only lvl 16.
Issue found with Visits:
It works most of the time but as I visited an offline friend I got disconnected and sent to thesettlersonline.com mainpage. Not sure if online/offline has anything to do with this, trying to replicate the test result, so far no luck. Rare bug, perhaps a one-timer because of exterior conditions.

Apart from the bonuses, the only problem I've found is the building queue sometimes disappears when I have a queue waiting. Not something I would consider a major issue.

I had that as well. Also buffing friends is really slow. rest is the same i guess missing 2 days bonus etc.
Just tried this myself in FF 8.0 on W7. Worked fine for me.
Must be something to do with server response time.

I have always been disconnected when attempting to visit offline friends,today when trying online friends,I was stuck with loading map,I hit the back button it did log me straight back into the game,then hard locked my pc,so friends dont expect a visit from me anytime soon ;)
The servers have been down since Friday afternoon and much of the weekend while they've been working to fix some issues. So far, so good though.
I've also experienced this problem while on anothers land.
There is also a bug that when deleting a used mine you can place another building directly on top of it while it's being destroyed.
One more problem (though it isn't a major bug in all honesty) is the wildlife on the map sometimes perform miracles - they walk on water!

i am not entirely shure but i think i didnt get all the diamonds i was supose to get for rewards mostly.
Just got the 'normal' daily bonus window - it has reset
Seems bonus' are working again in terms of showing you your reward.
Just got 100 stone, but it wasn't added to my resources.
Could have been coal though. Could a BB check this?
EDIT: Don't worry. I did recieve my reward, it just took quite a while to appear in my inventory.

I love this game, it is a bit slow. I do not have any friends yet. Have most the Settler games and this I think is the best. Hope the site will stay up now.

Just click on people's names in chat and click 'add friend'. Most people accept friend requests because it pays off to buff each other's buildings. :)
Same as everybody else I missed the daily bonus and it has reset to the beginning - also so far I have not received the hardwood logs I traded 49 gold for....:(

I tried logging in Saturday (CET) but it didn't work so my 7 day streak was interrupted...normally it would be day 7 today (or tommorrow, don't know exactly).
But hey, it's a Beta, [ Censored ] happens :)
Enjoying the game, though I miss the FFW button from offline versions :)

logged in yesterday but no daily bonus and today it shows 2 X's for day 6 and 7 daily bonus
apart from that everything seems to be running smoothly
Visiting other friends towns gives me the error seen in the attachments.
When click ok, the game shows me a message with "Loading title."
After 10 sec the main screen shows up (http://www.thesettlersonline.com/en/homepage) and i have to initialize the game again.
When i press the play now button at http://www.thesettlersonline.com/en/homepage. The game starts again and when i try to repeat visiting a friends town, the whole story starts all over.
i find it horibel that the game crashes when in beta:D Other then lost daylie bonus and som inconvions withe emtpy mines i have hadde no real problems. i dont of if the game stoped at all. might it be an ide if this happens again the game stops?
I should have received my daily bonus today. I had enough ticks and have logged on every day appart fromn the server issues... but alas the tick box has gone back to zero and I did not receive any gems :(

Overall.........same login difficuties as everyone else.
Main thread, no doubt in the wrong place.
I am trying to be polite and helpful on the forum, though I find silence is usually the best; thanks to those who have helped me, I appreciate it.
I also appreciate that I don't write in Swedish, Norwegian, spanish or anything other than English, Welsh and French, and I know that it is difficult writing in English if you are not English first language. Hence I have great admiration for you.
May I suggest that when writing in the forums or whispers personal remarks are avoided. I now know that buffing with fish is nearly useless, and I won't do it again.

I can't overcome the bandits as I have reached the 80 mark on the settlers [hoping to get the 200 later for army], is there a way to do this...like what is the ratio for defeating bandits, if there are 20 bandits in a camp how many soldiers must I send.
Besides the Buffs that show 12 or 14 when you have only 2 or 4 left, everything seems to run smooth... Thanks for the daily bonus reset :-)

Couldn't log in for two days, had X-s for day 6 and 7 yesterday and today I have to start all over again to get the final bonus.

Hi, i tried test around all weekend and sometimes the website crash. When i try visit a friend sometimes crash too and put me in login page.

All my functions are working fine except for chat -
My chat box is really slow to type in since the server crash - I'm sure you are on the case but thought I'd mention it - its so slow i.e. about a sec for each letter to appear as I type it - it drives me crazy and is making me not want to use the cant window so I hope its fixed soon. Thank you
Also twice yesterday the chat window just stopped working and all the tabs except news dissapeared!
Buffs are a little slow but for me no slower than before the crash.
Also a question please - the 200 settlers bonus (Thank you so much for the bonuses for downtime - awesome) do I need residences for the 200 before I use it? maybe a silly questions but I wanted to ask before I possibly wasted it (like I did with one the resource ones)
still getting serious delay when buffing buildings. Also have tried to replenish fish stocks and getting delays, but have an issue where the buff in my star menu has been greyed out, but the stock hasn't been replenished. Tried replenishing again to see if it clears the bug but no joy

Edit: refreshed my browser and it cleared the grey icon, but not sure if it replenished the stock, as where I thought I put them still only has 100 fish

I seem to be getting some weird sound issues .... There is almost a double sound with a slight delay ...anyone else ?
