unread posts

why when you click on the new posts does it show posts where you have made the last comment? Surely if the last comment is yours it's not unread:confused:

There also seems to be another problem with the forum features.

When clicking the 'Mark forums read' button under Forum Actions it will mark ALL posts read, even if a new post has been made in a thread.
This is quite annoying as when clicking on 'New Posts', you want all posts players have posted in if it's a new message, regardless if you've read the forum before. It should still show up as a 'New Post'.

Hopefully the BBs will fix this. :)

I always thought that's what its meant to do. I use it when I don't want to read particular threads, after I've read the ones I'm interested in. Don't use it here (yet) but on other forums where people just talk a load of dross :)

Yeah but it's sort of annoying not having a new post in a 'read' post pop up in the New Posts section. They should pop still.

I'm not bothered if I've read the entire thread and no one has made a reply, but if I've read all threads, click 'Mark All Read' and then someone makes a reply, I want to see it in the New Posts section as technically it is a new post.

I hate this problem. As CM I really really really need to read all messages and this forum is a real pain. We have often asked BB about this but their is not much they can do as they don't touch the forum (it's an external provider). We can only hope it gets fixed some time soon.

Just realised another forum I'm on has two buttons view new post and view unread posts
View new posts does exactly the same as here, what we need is a view unread posts if that's possible
