What's the best strategy to clear camps with dogs?

on main island - 200 recruits, then compose your army according to whatevers left to kill.

considering the fact that most camps with dogs wont fall under one attack, there really is no point sacrificing any more valuable units.

That's proberly because you sent archers, instaid of recruits.
