Exotic wood

Any idea how to get this? The question came from one of my guildmembers.

There is no forrester and neither a cutter for Exotic wood... So how can we get Exotic Wood in future?

As a reward from adventures or from sending the explorer for 'find treasure' missions (24hrs, I believe thats the shortest one where you can get luxury resources).

my explorer finding lux items in 12 hours aswell ( like exotic wood and granite )..

had granite on the 12hrs but not exotic wood yet. I even got an xmas present yesterday :)

I guess because The Settlers is in a "Northern-Europe" contrast, and exotic trees don't grow in Northen-Europe...

Mmm.. indeed not very convenient. How long will it take to acquire 3500 wood planks.. if you only can get it via treasure or trading..

Start by doing some adventures, you should get more exotic wood than you expect. Then, build one or 2 sawmills, buff them and wait.
