View Full Version : buffs (one lolly question)
One thing what i am not sure about, and now its starting to make me think alot. Most of buildings, mostly lvl 3 i keep buffed for all the time, and if i do so, they make 2 times more x material, with only half needed y material. Like 6 B swords, with materials for only 3 B swords.. Now i was started to think about mines, and cant understand. If i have lvl 2 iron mines, each cycle they use 2 irons from deposit and gives me 2 iron ores. If i buff it, it will give me 4 iron ores per cycle .. but will it drain 4 iron ores from deposit ?
Nope.
Twice the production, normal resource consumption.
buffing doesn't give you anything for nothing, it just speeds up the production and therefore doubles the output. Twice as many swords, twice as much bronze needed. And yes with mines & quarries they empty twice as quick
No Jools you get double the amount but it doesnt cost that much when its buffed:
just checked with coal mine who is buffed got 2 coal and it took only 1 from mine.
Jools now you really wrong, i did know about producing swords. You can try your self, look how much resources they take, then buff and look again. I wasnt sure about mines thought, but now if Calen ans sparkz say so, its very important that you can get as twice more from mine :)

My appologies, how an earth did I miss that? No wonder I'm doing so badly :)
now that is strange because i have buffed my smelter and when i check the details i get 2 ingots for 2 ore and 8 coal
some one is wrong but who?

Without buff you'd get 1 ingot.

I just stumbled across this thread and I"m glad I did as I thought they just worked double time like the other manufacturing buildings... so can i just ask a few questions to clarify please..
a) All mines when buffed give you twice as many resources out so a for example an 550 iron ore deposit, if you keep the mine buffed all the time would give you 1100 out of it???
b) Does that apply to marble and stone deposits too please??
thank you in advance

Ruben thank you - does it apply to fish and meat too please? i.e. if you add 800 deposits - do we get 1600 out if buffed?

I have a different question:
What does the cheese sandwich buff do that you buy for 50 gems in the market? My friend bought one and he said it told him to use it on mayors house, which he did. But he said it didnt seem to do anything? It says in the market that it gives a 'special effect' to the mayors house, but what exactly?

good question
I don't know for sure, but it probably increases the rate at which settlers are created, like the love potion used to.
