I usually play for a few minutes, then I get disconnected and have to enter the game again. How do I fix this?

make sure you have updated your browser and flash. You can also try another browser and check if that fixes it.

Tried, didn't fix a thing. It's annoying too because every time I get the message (at least once every 2minutes), I can sometimes STILL see the chat and people messaging eachother, so I haven't lost connection at all! It's a problem on your end not mine! @

This has been happening for me since last Thursday's maintenance along with the loss of the tabs under the chat window. Usually only happens once then after a Refresh it stays stable - apart from the tabs which I have reported in the other thread.

Only had this problem once, maybe it's the server or your firewall?

It is as Darius0101 said, this problem is based on server's side, since it cannot be that client loses connection regardless of used browser or state of ones bandwidth usage at the moment. I myself had this happen at random times of day, sometimes with wide lengths of time in between, other times one after other, making it impossible to even load the game properly then.
Also, so many people having same issue makes it unlikely to be on client's side.

I also think chat disappearing whenever it wants can be connected to this issue.

Same problem here, "server call failed". I tried everything, updating firefox, updating flash, changing browser, nothing works. I'm really puzzled what might be wrong, I don't have any kind of issues with other games, flash or no.

Been getting it since I started playing just over a week ago. To be honest, I can't think there are many other new players who would put up with having to log back in every 30 seconds (or every 10 seconds when it's really bad). Please fix this!

Hi guys,

When this happens, can you please empty your cache and cookies, reload the game, check you don't have anything blocking flash applications in your web-browsers.

If this does not work, contact BB_Ian through support for help.

Good luck ;)

I am getting "connection to server lost" almost every 5 minutes or so on my island, yet I can play for longer periods if on an advent, once returning to home island I crash within 5 minutes again, this has been happening for weeks and weeks now, and the problem can not be at my end, as I am playing on the test server at the same time without it crashing once, even though my game on northisle will still be crashing constantly. I should be having trouble on both islands if it was my computer. Can this be looked into by support?

Try not running TSOTesting at the same time, I believe this is known to cause issues, certainly in the same browser.

I only played test the other day to help with stress test, while there, my home island crashed x3 times, I otherwise am only on my island, which is constantly crashing, even though I have nothing in cache, nothing else open on my computer. still I persevere in constantly refreshing.

If you want to let Support look into this, you have to raise a ticket. You can do so by using the contact form on this page: http://www.thesettlersonline.com/en/help-and-support

What browser do you use currently? And are you absolutely sure you removed all cache?
As an example:
Chromes default is to just clear all cache from the last hour
Internet explorers default is to clear all cache except for your "Favourite sites"

As peck-ed said above, the test server is known to cause some kind of corruption (especially when your settlement there reaches high levels), which carries over to the Live servers. It's why I don't visit it anymore, final straw after all the bug reports were ignored.

thanks, I sent a ticket to support, I am using explorer, I have even tried reseting my computer to factory settings, done upgrades, so I had absolutely nothing else running, only TSO, and still I get "connection to server lost". thank you for your help.
