Attacking Wrong Bandit Camp

I selected to attack a bandit camp 10000% sure of it, and my general attacked a different camp which was a certain defeat. lost my whole army :( I'm new and it took me a while to rebuild after learning the hard way about game balance, made sure I had enough to take on the camp I planned to attack. Frustrated isn't the word :( Are there mechanics which means your general will attack a different camp?

it is possible your general walked over the camps radius and it will then attack that camp instead of the one you wanted..

to avoid this of happening again, click on garrison then on transfer, and place the garrison in a better place so you attack the one you want and not another camp.

I just got alike problem so i reply this thread. When i sent my general to attack weak bandit's camp, he took path near other strong camp, that was on province i hadn't discovered yet (but it was visible under the fog of war). Unfortunately my troops, decided to attack strong camp first and got slaughtered. I know attacking bandits on general's way isn't bug, but attacking camps from undiscovered provinces seens to be one.

I don't think it's a bug. Just because you haven't discovered it yet doesn't mean that it's not there.
