chat room problems

anyone else having problems with accessing the chat room. the game plays fine but i can't trade etc as chat room is permanantly down

Press Ctrl + F5 on your browser. If the problem persists, submit a support ticket on the options menu in game.

thanks. just tried it. it restarted the game and the chat browser worked for a few seconds but then shut down. i'll submit a ticket

I have same problem, but I know reason. If you connect through proxy chat is down because chat use differend port than 80 (or 443 for SSL). This is not bug... unfortunately.

no idea what your on about matey.:)
every time i connect to the game the chat browser opens but then after anything between 5 seconds and 5 minutes it shuts down. if i've managed to get a trade offer going that still seems to run although i can't see it.
weird thing is it worked fine for a week or so when i first started playing

seem to have sorted now. i switched from i.e 9 to google chrome and it works fine.perhaps an auto update altered i.e somehow
