View Full Version : Forester Bug

I was checking the time for my workyards today and came across this bug with one of my fir tree foresters:

It would seem that this forester cannot work, have tried turning him off and back on again. TBH it actually looks like I managed to somehow build the forester on a tree spot.

Meant to say there is no progress bar either for this forester so i assume they are not doing anything at all.

Thanks

I had similar problem... later on, I noticed that all fir wood is depleted but it does not show (trees are not cut down).

Picture as proof:

If you destroy the current foresters and build new ones the trees grow back

I had the same problem earlier. There are at least 2 spots right behind that forest, where the foresters refuse to work

Does "sending a ticket to support" mean sending a question in this "Question for the support team" contact form here http://www.thesettlersonline.com/en/help-and-support ?

Ii have this same problem with that forest of fir trees that does not seem to get used. The graphics always show them as fully grown trees but i am sure the actual numbers seem to go up and down as though they are actually being worked. I think. Maybe, i'm not sure :)

I have the same problem but i put a cutter there instead of a forester and he refuses to work, it says he cant find any trees.

I've got the same problem with both fir wood & hard wood foresters. They are not producing any new trees at all.

This bug is still going on, I've had it as well. Got a load of cutters and forresters in this area (the block of pine trees) and they aren't producing as much as they should do. I put sawmills on the 2 spots behind the trees where if you build cutters they won't find trees. Something still wrong with this. According to the online tools I should have a massive pine overproduction (9 level 3 cutters) but I'm not getting the numbers I should in my stores. Did anyone get a reply about this bug?

Forget my comment about the cutters not producing enough - I got my maths wrong. Always the way, even when I'd double checked before posting. Doh!
