I don't know if it's already mentioned, but there is a bug when buffing a friend's building
The number of plates doesn't decrement in the star menu, but stays the same as before the buffing.
When I try to buff a building though, the correct number of remaining plates appears next to the cursor.
So, you need to try and buff something in order to see how many plates you have.
