View Full Version : Things you'd like to see added to the game

Hi all,

I'm currently level 17 and wondering which other nice features could be added to the game. It would be nice to see some of the following features and options added to the game in the future:

Weather effects - wind, rain and snow
PvP combat - but an option to switch it off or on
Music - some in game music would be nice

What features would you guys like to see added to the game in the future?

would be nice if at lvl 5 the silo could store a strategic nuclear warhead, would make adventures a bit easier

Currently at L22 -
The amount of marble seems low - for growth only allowed 3 mines, not sure how many we get at later levels.
Up grades very expensive ie houses L3 500 gold 600 marble & noble house 600 hardwood 750 marble for 10 settlers also same for resources building level ups past L2

i just made a new thread about it.. i would like to see the option to be able to change your avatar.... also (although i don't think it is going to happen...) i would like to see a PvP map which you fight for control over certain areas... after youv'e captured an area ... you have say .. 3 days to defend it with troops and then it is open to other people to attack.... also there could be certain areas in which the guilds fight for control

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.

I'd like to see the tree thing developed more along the lines of AoE where the foresters have a defined area for tree planting, similar to the military buildings area of influence, and abandon idea of tree growing areas being fixed at the original design. I understand the reason given for the original concept but believe that anyone playing who builds their island out of tree growing areas deserves to be left to their fate.
As for the game speed, I thought AoE was slow but this is measured in geological time.

PvP would be fun :) If the player had a choice to switch it on or off or maybe a PvP only server.

now, if I have in storage 1001 swords, or 1999 swords, it will be shown as 1k. That's kinda not very informative ;p
I would like the number to show with decimals, like 1,3k swords, or 3,8k.

I might be wrong but if you hover over the item it will tell you how many of that item you currently have. :) I only noticed this myself today. It said I has 1k plants but the pop up in fact said I have 1104.

That is a good idea regarding PVP. Everyone has the square they are working on at the moment and that could be their base which they cannot loose. But then once they venture out of that to different maps it would open up for PVP

Yes Loffs, I totally agree that mines should be treated like wells and wheat fields, no license required but the more productive the higher the cost. But then it's just another obvious example of the designers building in an income stream from the online store, which isnt a criticism because this is understandably a commercial venture. But the slow game speed, resource replenishment, population regeneration and army recruitment are all fairly obvious ploys to make players buy their way through the game. The most blatant form of these cash generative devices is the severe limitation of gold coins as rewards. Since the game requires greatly increased amounts of gold coins for upgrades as you progress you would expect that, in an equitable system, that the amount of gold coins awarded for completeing each level would increase exponentially - im currenty at lvl26 and there is no sign of the gold coin fairy yet!

I'd like to see the geologist become a little more communicative about his findings. He slinks back from his trips silently and only seems to communicate when he's decided that I already have too much of some mineral or other. Could he be prevailed upon to send me a mail when he finds something? Could he even consider keeping a log book of his findings? He seems a tad unprofessional. Granted, he was hired in a tavern, but even so... :)

I've looked at a lot of games and reviewed a lot of them. Yet the one key element is missing I think you should add ships, in a lot of the settlers and Civ games you have ships and you have the right outset with the water by the island you could easily add ships into it. I agree with PVP to but i'm not completely sure on how you are going to allow PVP even as a server you would need to set up a link to selecting servers from a list. Another feature you could add which will help most people even though its very small is adding a full size view, i know you can press F11 or Alt+Enter but adding an option would make alot easier for people.

I agree with this as some market research check out Kingdoms of Camelot on Facebook this shows this well. And you may be able to include features Similar to those in that game

i would like to be able to list more then one item at a time in the trade section would help when selling surplus or trying to buy items.. also as a new player and from reading seems coins are a very rare and hard thing to come by even buying with gems can cost you a fortune in real money to get the necessery coins for a single high lvl upgrade .. i dont see any othere resource restricted like this so be able to make more coins or obtain them would be nice

I would like to see in the buildings menus the amount of buildigs of each type you already have (after a 100+ buldings is not that easy to remember what you actully have built)

and don't you think it will be unfair?
as it is now thre are player alredy lvl 35 and more. what about the newish players?
de advantage of the "oldest" will be to great.
my point of view, anyway.

I like the game but is there a plan to speed up the game a little bit because it's starts to get a bit dull and pointless in the end waiting and waiting and waitzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz? I need some more action.

I used to play Evony untill recently and there is a feature in that game i would like to see here.
Attacking time, a timer of some kind that let us know when and attack will reach its target. In evony this thing have even a camping time wich is just a "waiting time".
that way it will make easier to calculate when 2 o more attacks reach their destination.
Very usefull if more than one player is attacking the same target or is the atacker is only oneself doing a "wave attack" or "rainbow attack".
Could that be implemented here?
