Can you explain the benefits of being in a guild?

Well, if you are in an good guild you could trade and have an fun chat with the members :) Also if there is gonna be PvP later in the game guild could be an smart thing to join.

in a guild there are a lot of people who are willing to help you out a lot if you run out of a certain type of resource... as well as inviting you to be secondary's in adventures

and also when a guildmate buffs you the effect last twice the normal time

that effect is actually only %50 more than the normal.... and it can be anyone that does it just not you ...
