After log-in game gets stuck

I logged in using my Facebook account, on Google Chrome. After clicking 'play now' the game loads to the full 100 %. But when the game should start, I get an empty message box (saying: Tip of the day and Latest Changes, but without any content) and I can't click anywhere. Waited around 5 minutes to give it the chance to completely load, but nothing changed. Refreshing does not help.

So haven't got the chance to start playing yet :)

clear the cache of your browser, log out completely, log in and it should work.. if not: restart pc and try again.

Done, but brings no solution.
Maybe I should just contact support for this?

Edit 2: Situation fixed itself. Today no problems anymore, so probably the maintenance resolved it.
