Upgrade Forester - turns into a cutter?

Ok, so i just clicked my Fir Wood forester to upgrade to level 4 and it turns into a wood cutter while upgrading.. it will be 24 hrs before i know if it decides to turn back into a forester or not, but if it does't, then i could be stuck with crazy woodcutter's and no foresters.. anyone seen or heard of this before?

I have just paid your island a visit and see 3 cutters and 1 forester being upgraded.

yes, because i did some frantic gold buying, and tried another upgrade on another forester - and that worked ok.. my original forester stayed a woodcutter after it finished upgrading, but other wood foresters have been ok when i upgraded them. *shrug* - at least it only happened once. =)
