Server down?

I've been trying to log in to the game since 9 GMT but I keep getting maintenance "Connection failed" error. There doesn't seem to be any news, no tweets, nothing on facebook. What's going on?

I doubt thesettlersonline.com would be his least problem if hi's internet were down all together :D

I had exacly the same issue, but it seems to work now.
