Today i saw my general marching towards camp 5 on Victor the Vicious.
This is the camp where you'd rather send the attack on camp 9 instead.
Before he turned over the rocky north side of a mountainrange, i thought:

Ok, enough time to do the trades

When i got back to the map i was seeking the general on camp 5,
where he was supposed to be intercepted.

However what did i see!

My general was still at the same spot, where i saw him before i left the adventuremap.

And then he went straight into camp 4 !

????

That's a camp, which i wrote myself: "Do not attack"

I stared at the screen, what on earth was happening here?

Well ok, i decided to go back to my own town.
I read two mails there:
General intercepted ( ah yes that's correct, he attacked camp 5)
But the next mail was rather surprising,

General attacked camp 8
As i cleary sended my general to attack the leadercamp, camp 9
it should have written:
General was intercepted.

17R 51S down the drain :(

And can someone tell me, how i could be seeing the general to attack camp 4.
Somewhere there is a huge display-bug.
Possibly caused by the huge number of players on the server.

i think another possible cause is here, if you switch tabs in your browser, sometimes your mouse pointer is NOT where it is pointing , if at that time you think you click camp9 but you accidentialy sent to camp 8 because your mouse pointer was in the wrong spot when you clicked

And then the problems continue.
Ofcourse you need to add regularly 50 or more Settlers to the Mayorshouse during a Victor the Vicious-map.

So i added +50 to the mayorshouse.
The image went shady inside my starmenu.

5 minutes went by.

Then i decided to relog, since the lag was to much.
But these 50 settlers and the 1250 bread was gone. :(

sigh.

Doing my pirates i went for camp 7. the laggy gen managed to get in t1 and 8 and then it went to 7.(while im sure he wasnt there on the map) couldnt do a thing about it. A 60 recruits and 140 soldiers wave and lost of those the recruits and 35 soldiers(=350 ss 700bread and 525 beer and a load of time). Never should have been able to happen.. :(

Traitors
Monday evening around 10ish i tried to carry out a block on camp 7. The 2nd general with full complement (96 recruits 104 cav) was well on way to camp 8 when the camp 7 fight started. Low and behold just as he was passing camp 7 he "shimmered" and went backwords towards the stockage gate. Lost tract of him and then he was fighting camp 7 before i could retreat.

Horseback
Just tried to carry out block 1 on camp 14. The second general entered camp 15 while the blocking general was fighting in camp 14 (1R) and I thought it was going how it should go. The second general started fighting in camp 15 and defeated the camp and both other camps also disappeared from the map. When I saw my general returning I thought to go back to my home island and put in a trade offer. On my home island I saw the battle reports of horseback and one of them was "your general has been intersepted"?! Went back to visit horseback and the leadercamp was back on the map, as well as the skipped camp. Lost the 50R, 100B and 50LB I had sent to camp 15....

Does this happen often when blocking???

Does this happen often when blocking???With the current lag it does happen very often. Wich is why i stoped blocking on this server.

I was doing horseback, i then attacked camp 16, which it went and attacked, so then I left the map and went back to home and kept doing wheatfields. then i recieve a email "your general has been intercepted" i then go back look, the lag from loading the map means that now im killing camp 15. i die and loose around 50soilders.

I then think, it must have been my fault. So i then moved onto camp 17, i attacked with the rest of the soilders i had, which was around 100, i then go back home, and come back with my general dead. i go back and look at the battle reply in my emails... i have then attacked camp 15 once again.... good bye 155 soilders.

More problems encountered today.
I was attempting one of those blocks of mine.

I looked at the map, yes i did send my general out to block.
But where could he be?

I searched, and searched. The invincible general had turned invisable.

ABORT! ABORT! i shouted.

Both the generals were back in the garrison tents, ok.
Phew..almost lost an entire regiment of crossbowmen.
Then i tried anew, this time i saw the generals moving on the map.
I started the attack on the leadercamp just at the right time.

And what happened?

Suddenly the blocking-battle was already lost.
NO WAY!

The blockingbattle takes at least one round,
and there should have been a dusty fight going on before the enemies tent.

Should i demand full compensation for the loss?

My experience has been that if I stay in the adventure tab during military operations, there are less glitches.
RE: Compensation.
Try asking very nicely.
The game IS in Beta and we are warned to expect things like this.
That being said, I have only ever had stellar responses and resolutions to my issues with support.
