How to: Marble and hardwood..

I'm level 17 and new to the game..

My question(s): I've found a marble deposit using my geologist.. But can't figure out how to "harvest" the marble.. And how do I turn the hardwood into planks? Do I need to get to level 18 to unlock the buildings, or?!

You need to build a marble mason to mine the marble, and a hardwood sawmill to turn hardwood logs into hardwood planks. I can't remember what level they become available at but they are the first buildings you can get in the advanced buildings menu

Thanks.. That's what I thought, but can't find the buildings in the advanced buildings menu.. Guess they'll show up in time.. :)

Are you playing on a small screen? The top row of advanced buildings menu can end up being hidden if your screen is too small. You should always be able to see the buildings, even if they're greyed out and unavailable.
Try going to full screen, and hide the friendslist by clicking the small arrow underneath the starmenu.
