Every time I start up the game my cpu temp ramps up from around 50c to 100c+ within a couple of minutes - Intel 2.66 GHz core 2 duo on a macbook pro.. doesn't happen on other games - so I get out quick...

any ideas on problem/settings/solution?

thanks.

To many variables. Like what other games? Hows your GPU? Anything else you have running? Is your coolerfan still working? etc etc
Sugest you try some benchmarks and then see what the temps do (and maybe ask on techy forums ;) )

It's quite a common issue on many Macs, they do not like Flash much...

There are a few suggestions for things you can try in the support documents that you can find on Apple's website. (None made any difference to my Mac).

I have friends in Indonesia and Thailand that will not run flash on their Macs unless the cooling pad is below... Some say it works... Some are less polite...
