I think the title says enough. Accidentally double clicking on the clear trade button should not cost gems without confirmation.

Agreed I had this in prov house, cost me 120 gems, didn't even know till a couple days later.... BB did refund me half because I complained about it, is half really enough thou? shouldn't there be a confirmation on these types of speed ups? its costing people their real life cash. unacceptable IMO.

I think the game needs way more confirmation buttons, or cancel options. It is gems and resources wasted..:( I think that's not even the ubisoft's point, to waste gems to anything you didn't mean.. Game has more than enough options available to waste resources and gems in every transaction.

I don't know whether I am the only one or not, but one of my biggest problems and a constant pain in my backside is the fact that any quests that you can complete by spending gems does not have a confirmation/"are you sure..." button so you can get out of wasting gems because you've accidentally pressed the finish button that somehow changes rapidly to the gem button in the blink of an eye. I have wasted more than 100 gems in completing quests not because I couldn't do it, but because once I have the requirements to finish the quest, for some frustrating reason, it quickly changes to the "spend gem to complete quest" button (which just so happens to be in the same clicking vicinity as finish quest button) and without warning, my gem total is deducted and my quest is completed.

PLEASE give us a chance to cancel out of spending gems on easy quests that we shouldn't be spending our gems on. It's really pissing me off. I've done it like 4 times already in the last 3 months or so and gems don't grow on trees you know! If you give a "are you sure..." option for material requirements suuuuuurely spending gems should have one too! Please game developer people... I'm pulling my hair out here!!!:mad::mad:

I have never actually seen it as a problem and never made that mistake so cant really go with you on this.. But I do see your point here, and yes I think there should be a confirm button once pressed, like "are you sure" or "press here to continue" that way you would iron out these mistakes and yes I agree it does it with everything else like knocking down building and moving buildings.. I guess this is another way of getting you to spend a few extra gems and they are happy to go along with that.

So even though I have not had this problem myself and didn't even notice that there was a possibility for this error to be made I totally agree you have a valid point here and they should implement a second chance button as you said.

So you have my backing on this.

I agree totaly. I already done that my self so i just wasted half of my gem in a single mistake click.

haha I'm glad I'm not the only one. What prompted this complaint is I had a daily request for 20 stones and 20 pinewood planks or something like that... And I ended up spending 35 gems completing this request. (I had 9k of each in the warehouse...) I'm still pretty cut about it. haha

Please possible to add dialog when we use 2nd dary payment (gem)?

example at provision house, when i added alot stuff for craft and then regret what abort it then click to "X", but if someone want abort it faster then click faster and often happen the list jumping to 1st/currently crafting stuff where is the paying with gem icon instead the "X" so i lose gems for useless speed uping the fishfood crafting only because list jumping back to 1st production where the buy link got same place than the abort production.

similiar at quest where have option for paying with gem for complete it but that also got pretty annoying place, acctually if have a dialog with "do you really want buy - Yes/No" then that could be awasome /perfect....

(for not wasteing more gem anymore with [ rubbish ], i today lost 2x cost of this [ rubbish ])

Please be careful with words chosen,

I just accidentally spent 575 gems completing my daily quest. A single mis-click, no confirmation, gems gone, reward of 150gc (I think). Great.

Since BlueByte think it's necessary to bring up an "are you sure" box when I try to demolish an exhausted well, surely they can see the need for something similar when spending gems?

Since many gems are introduced through money payments, I think expecting players to just accept their gems are gone with a single accidental mouse-click with no attempt at confirmation is a little unreasonable.

Of course I could ask support to refund my gems, I wonder if they would be sympathetic?

Bluebyte support essentially says "Try to be careful not to have an accident, problem solved"
It's that easy. Which is why nobody needs a car insurance, either. :D

Hello,

I just accidentally spent a small amount of gems for completing a easter related quest that i did not intend to do. The "spend gems" button to complete quest is located to the left of the OK button.
I think it would be really useful to have a confirmation window appear before any action that leads to spending gems, since the gems are so hard to acquire. Like the one in the Trade Office.

Just a small think i think it would save some people a few gems at least :)

Cheers

Not going to happen, and support don't care.

This has been happening for 2years+ many threads calling for it to be changed, yet here we are 2years on same old same old.

I have to agree with that. Accidentally bought an adventure for gems instead of mapfragments. Why are they even in the same tab in store? Ridiculous. A confirmation on spending money should be for our good, which usually is not at all in the line of any company wanting to make money. But this just makes me a sad customer, which will never spend money on this free game. A game that actually thinks about their customers is one Im inclined on supporting. This one, not so much.

Long overdue this one, when closing one widget can leave the mouse over a very expensive one like upgrading a building.

Several times I've had a brain-fart and when I had opened an explorer and I click on the gem by accident thereby speeding him up. I know it's not a lot of gems but I'm agreeing that *ALL* gem spending should have a confirmation window.

happened to me several times while trying to cancel troop orders really needs sorting as this is the same con other games employ

I know this has been suggested before, but I think it needs to be brought up again. During the last couple of days I've spent 260 gems that I absolutely did not want to spend. 200 gems gone after checking how many gems it cost to finish a book and my computer thinking I was clicking when I was moving the mouse (I play on a laptop) and another 60 after removing troops from the barracks queue and all of a sudden it jumped to the top.

I think it's quite ludicrous that we have a confirmation button for deleting empty wheat fields and wells but none for spending gems. I understand that they want us to spend gems, but on the other hand I'm sure a lot of people feel like me who would never spend real money on the game when there's a risk I might accidentally spend them on something I don't want.

Because of this, I would like to suggest a confirmation button for any gem spending.

Look at the date of the first request on the thread, won't be happening soon will it.

Indeed. I don't see this being a priority for them.
The only place I tend to get burned is on active specialists - instead of closing the window I click on the green arrow out of habit and before thinking about it. I am completely aware it's totally my fault but I would like it if a "are you sure you want to spend x gems" window popped up.

Joining in with lordloocan as well: It's been suggested for years now, in this thread and others, and while it is still necessary to confirm you do want to demolish an exhausted wheat field most of the 'spend gems' options have nothing similar. So yep, doesn't seem like it'll be Coming Soon even it would be awfully helpful.

Clicking the green tick on active specialists costs no gems, all it does is close the window.

Clicking the ::gem::=clock:2 button costs gems and has no confirmation pop-up, though it could use one.

hmmm
I'm going to trust you on that one since I can't confirm right now.... but I was pretty sure that the checkmark did what was implied by the cost indicator and gems were used... perhaps it was just me but I hesitate to experiment too much (I hate wasting gems).

Thanks for the input

Hi,

my elite barracks window was open and I accidentally clicked on the button "Instant complete for". As a result I spent more 360 gems which I hadn't intended to spend. Please introduce a confirmation window to prevent this from happening!
Thanks

+1
Sometimes I click on an explorer/geologist while they are active and no confirmation of gems spent there either. I have no problem with things available to spend gems on but every one should have a confirmation window.

While I'm thinking about it, I think clarity when demolishing a building could be improved also. The confirmation window that shows you the resources you will recover should have the name of the building that is being destroyed. I've almost cause myself extreme pain by not being on the right building.

When looking at the quest book and the guild quest, there is an option to pay with gems.

as with many other things when there is an option to for example demolish a building a popup asks us if we are sure we wish to do that.

sadly that popup doesn't exist in the guild quest instant finish with gems options. you press it and it's .. well finished.

What i suggest is such a window, just in case some one (not saying lilla that would be embarrassing) by accident clicks on the instant finish by gems.

so to conclude

when pressing the gem button to instantly finish the guild quest, a popup should appear to ask if I am certain i wish to do so

thank you for reading
