I've found a New Combat Simulator.

For some reason, this combat simulator "http://hallophp.de/dso_kampfsimulator/en/" is not working anymore, i do not know why, however, I've been searching for a combat simulator that will work in the browser, and I'm very very good at finding stuff on the internet, and it would seem that i have found one. Please post in this thread if you have any problems with this calculator or if some of the calculations aren't working. I will be using it for the first time today, and with a bit of luck, this calculator and simulator should work perfectly. I've attacked 29 Rouchneks with 75 bowmen, worked out perfectly in Sector 6. :cool:

It's a well known calculator and one of the two that pop up straight away if you do an internet search for 'settlers online combat simulator' so finding it is not hard. It produces a much broader casualty estimate than the german one so I don't like it as much, but like you say it's better than nothing.
