Working my way through tutorial and need to place a well, have stuff to build it but cant place it, am I doing something wrong as will let me build anything else but the well!

Any change you lvl didnt update correctly?
if so relog and try again.

Log out and back in again. That normally clears the issues.
If that fails, try clearing the cache.

Logged out and in several times before it eventually cleared. Alot of the time when i try to place a building and cant i get a drop down box at the top saying cancel action, not sure if its me lol. As you been such a great help could you tell me how i use the add resources in the star menu. Thanks again.
