Gives you 1 settler every 90 secs for short period of time, on lvl 1 mayors house 10 mins, lvl 2 20 mins etc.

I just tried it out of curiosity ... complete non event :-(

they are handy on the crisis quests when you have to add population (but cannot use bread to make settlers)

I used this on my lvl 4 mayors house, and got 1 settler every 90 seconds for 10 minutes.

The Mayor's House produces 1 settler every 15 minutes, regardless of it's level.

A Cheese Sandwich will give "10x Output" for 10 minutes, which equates to 1 settler every 1.5 minutes. So, that's 6 extra settlers (and 'two thirds' of the next one - it then takes 5 minutes to complete the other 'third' of a settler, thus giving you that one after 15 mins, as normal).

If you need more settlers, then there are other ways of getting them: The Village School only produces an extra settler every hour, but will soon be upgradeable to Lv 5.
Making settlers in the 'Provision House' uses up bread, but is the fastest way to increase population
Some adventures will give settlers in the loot
