Hello,

I am not sure where this request should be placed, if it is the wrong forum/sub-forum please place or copy/close it elsewhere.

I realize this game is Pegi-7 so certain words are censored (rightfully so).
There is 1 word however, which is rather important in the dutch chat channel (global-6).

The Dutch word *h*o*e* means 'How' in English. I hope I don't have to explain how important the word 'how' is in English global-1 and the Help channel. It is rather annoying to read in the Dutch channel: '*** I get hardwood?' and '*** do I trade?' and hundreds other questions that has the word 'how' in it.

Of course I am aware what the English word means, but I doubt Americans, British, and any other (native)speaking English players would join the Dutch channel.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day.

Danny

Hi Danny,

I completely understand your need to have this word un-banned. But unfortunately, we can only have one banned words list for the whole chat and it is not possible for us to unban a word on one channel only.

I'm sorry I can't help you on this one.

Best,
BB_Azariel

*H*o*e is a garden implement in english not an inappropriate word im not sure it sould be on the banned list at all just because its close in spelling to a US slang word for an english slang word for prostitute

It's one of several places where the chat filter seems to ban correct words that are similar to rude slang. Another strange one to get masked is *k*. Why is it supposed to be inappropriate? Can the filter not tell the difference between *k* and the possibly racist use of *k*k*k*?

Just try typing " There is no k in Stoke", in the chat, and see what that does! ;)

@Lymond: there is a very odd list of banned words and we've asked on many occasions to have it changed... And it still looks like some words ("k" and "scooby" for example) are banned.

We still try to push this issue when it comes up but it's far from being a priority.

Best,
