View Full Version : Cant Connect
I was playing then all of the sudden the servers crashed and now I cant connect at all, all my other internet applications still work just not settlers.
Could more time please be spend on upgrading and fixing the servers so there is less god damm lag and less interruptions. Spend less time and empty promises of upcoming features.
It comes to the "tip of the day" and that's the end of it.
Having the same problem. Tried different browsers but the problem persists.
i cant connect either, shows the loading window with te tips of the day, then everything else is blank

Trying to connect for some time already, well it was bound to happen sooner or later.. The quality of the server has been degrading for severall days already.
how do you get to the test server?

same issue game not loading and my economy is in major negative on pine-wood so will soon stop and my mine needed topping up today

Mod Lotak Confirmed, all servers are currently down. BB Admin's are investigating at the moment, no ETA yet I'm afraid
So all European, German and testservers are down. Mostlikely the Polisha re affected as well.
@ Lotak, now tell me again the servers are not (cross)connected :P
ive only been playing for 2 days and this is the 1st problem i have seen (apart from major lag when buffing)
any official threads about this problem?
or does this the describe new BB policy:
- raise prices of gems (and shop items)
- decrease level of support (response days)
- take servers offline to save power

If they are on the same server farm (which is likely) there are plenty of issues that can cause the same issue for all servers
Anyway, they are messing about with test atm, so that might be the root cause of the issues here

I am experiencing poor service (again) as well from Blue Byte. I can't connect to the server.

posting a question is never a lie, beside that its a fact that items are getting more expensive and servers have been offline quite often lately.
also i have posted to support a few times (and not only me) and never received a response.

Yep i got a very louder then usual bell and black screen! xD, Cant log in. I didn't see any warning they would be doing tests.

gems didnt get more expensive- the special offer ended, servers arent shut down to conserve power (problems can occur that make servers unavailable for a while- and there havent been too many of those either lately- unless you insist on counting regular maintenance in there as well) and support takes as long as it always has taken, sometimes longer sometimes shorter- maybe the questions didnt merrit an answer or have low priority. I have heared of people receiving support within 3 hours as well -
posting loaded questions or rethorical ones can justa s well be spreading innuendo and lies - but if u think i am slamming you too hard, youc an always report me to support and let em judge that.

Think its the other way around. Power shut down to preserve the servers... they getting to stressed lately ;p
IM back in after 4hrs of a blue screen i went from 10k water last nite and a crap load of wells to 0 water all my buildings complaining and not producing so now i have very little of everything and i had my gold line buffed and they have been running 4hrs unbuffed now and the mine has gone empty :( and the other 1 is at 24 Gold i think i got there just in time.
Although they can not prevent or predict all problems with servers it would of bee nice if a offical post had been posted to update us on the current situation as soon as they were made aware of the problems and I think it would be fare to those of us who lost a lot through have it replaced. some ppl lost adventures and lots of troops through this and other lose lots of resources.
We were unable to access the forum to make any posts to advise.. If you have lost troops due to adventures ending whilst the servers were unavailable, please contact support who will be happy to help.
Current state of play is that there is a problem with uPlay servers affecting both the login to games and also access to the forums. BB are aware of this and have been working on it for several hours.
me too, couldn't even log in for several hours. already complained to support, but now i could log in and play, although game is really slow.

We are aware that there are still login issues to some of the servers for some people. Please do the following if you are encountering these issues:
1) Clear your Cache and Cookies from your internet browser
2) Reboot your pc
If you are still unable to login after this, please be assured that the BB engineers are still working on the issue, which is affecting all language servers, not just the UK ones.

Can't get in but I'll just wait it out. Hopefully it gets fixed before my adventure runs out :)
Got in for 5 minutes but got thrown out when i tried to get to my adventure island :P
Anyone else noticed that time seemed to have halted for as long as the server were down?
I had a number of baskets being produced that were due to finish at ~23:00 CET, but now it says that it will finish at midnight instead.
Yes Uzza seen more reports about it.

Any users who are using FireFox and still cannot log in, please try using an alternative browser such as Chrome or Safari. We have been made aware that a lot of people are suffering login failures since a FireFox update.

How come everything worked fine over here (with latest Firefox updates) till yesterday after the servers crashed?
Even in FF 9.0 it doesn't work.

server 3- I was able to log in a couple hours ago, well, lets wait for the fix.
I cant login and using Chrome. From time about 11.00 a.m. polish time i have some login issues. Now when i press PLAY i got white page and nothing else.

Seems to be some kind of firewall settings issue, I can't even get to the front page using firefox. Tracert works, I get response from http server. IE works, both home site and the game itself, but let's be honest- I don't want to use IE.
I can't connect - have been trying all evening since I got home from work :-(

previous poster already said it is maintenance, main page says it is maintenance- guess why you can't connect .....

yeah... im having the same problem, ive not been able to connect all day and maintenance has been over for 14 hours now...

Unhappy Settlers Economy Tool

I tried logging in with my password today and it wont submit my form information to the database. It was working perfectly for the past couple of days but now I can't use it.
I have tried clearing my browsers cache, cookies and restarting the browser, using different browsers, all countless times and still no response.
Please help.
ive been on all day without any problems
