Chat window problems

I'm not sure if this has already been brought up so forgive me if it has. I can't seem to type to anyone in the chat window or whispers. It'll open the window if I click on whisper to one of my friends but I still can't type in there. Does anyone have any ideas?

Same with me. I can trade and mail, but no chat on global, guild or whisper...

Have you tried to refresh your browser? Or does this happen each time you log in? Hopefully we can get this sorted for you

same problem has been thelast 3 days - wondering if the last update caused the issues. have refreshed my browser cleared my caches, flash and browser every time i log on of go to an addy island I get [11:40] News: Chat server login failed. seems to be profile related - 2 different systems sane issue - 1 computer explorer, 2nd computer firefox....sent in to tech support did all they said (refresh, reload - nothing...
