View Full Version : Do gold mines pay themselves?

Gold mines are expensive to build, and so is the rest of the production chain for gold coins.
There are only 300 gold ore in my goldmines, but it costs 1400 of marble and hardwood, and 1500 tools. How can I ever make a profit from building a mine? Refilling the mine is also 75 gems, which take forever to gather.
I can't see how the goldmines make themselves a profit, but then again, I'm only at level 25, so I may just not have much use for gold coins yet?
Any advice that can change my point of view?
they do if you keep em buffed constantly .. best way is do adventures that can get u gold refills once you have enough in a main upgrade it and buff it when it gets low pause it .. use ur ore and either sell it or make coins buffing the entire chain then use some of the coins to buy parrots and refill ur mine ur profit will be low at the start but it grows over time as you upgrade and make more coinages etc

I guess you mean buffing the chain, not the goldmine itself? The buffs on mines only give faster yield, due to double output, and so doubling the depletion-rate, as fas as I've understood.
So buffing the smelter and buffing the coinmaker, sounds sound :) And doing adventures to get free refills :)
thanks, I've seen the light, albeit in a few levels!
your wrong buffing a mine any mine doesnt make it use double only upgrading depletes a mine faster buffing gives you double for free..i have lvl 5 gold mine when its in use its buffed so i get 10 ore instead of 5 and only 5 is taken off the mines content
