lost resources?

Hi.

Imagine the following situation:
Water (resource) has reached maximum storage limit. The player has 2 wells (level does not matter). Both are waiting for available storage, in order to continue production. Suddenly, there's a demand for water and the storage drops 1 unit. Both wells can now deliver the water production.
a) what happens to the water in excess?
b) what happens if only one well has 3 units to deliver and only 1 storage to maximum is available?

It's important cause one might be losing resources.

I think the question is still relevant, never pay attention to it before, but lets say its not water, but any other valuable resourse. also if you send a trade request and remove something from your store house to do it, workers will fill it again, but if the trade is refused and you accept your resources back, and is no room to them you just lose them. the same dont happens with resources in Star menu, you just use the amount necessary to fill your storehouse.

Still i find very strange that no mod has bothered to post a comment in here.
Do we have to "start a verbal fight" in order for a mod to to take the trouble of coming here and anwser???

Did i asked in my original post if i could stop production? DID I?
Have i asked for a solution? HAVE I?
Or have i asked what HAPPENS to the resource in excess???

You presented a problem, stands to reason someone's gunna come along who wants a solution plus if you stop the production there's no excess, so nothing happens to it at all ;)

Also stands to reason that if there's no room in the warehouse then either they dump the resource and carry on producing or they halt production because of no where to put the extra resource they've gathered. Though my cutters were till producing logs even when the warehouse was full so they probably get dumped :D

If production was started before "no room in warehouse" - they will deliver goods when there is enough room again.
If you accept trade or trade is refused - but you don't have enough space in warehouse - the remaining part is lost :(
I just accepted by accident 400 meat - where there was room for only 2 :( 398 was lost :(
