can anyone tell me how long each troop takes to recruit in the barracks ?

I was under the impression that upgrading halved recruiting time but I don't think upgrading to level 4 has halved the time taken

Increases recruiting speed by 100% from base value each time you upgrade.

Keyword there is "base".

The best way to work out how long troops will take is to know the base value for each.

Lvl2 upgrade will take 1/2 of the time to produce,
Lvl3 upgrade will take 1/3 of the time to produce,
Lvl4 upgrade will take 1/4 of the time to produce,
Lvl5 upgrade will take 1/5 of the time to produce.
