In Game Chat

I cannot write in any of the chat screens. I can see chat but i do not get a dialogue box i can write in. Any suggestions?

Just to be sure it's not an oversight.

De dialogue box is a 1 line textbox situated below the chatbuttons in the main bar.
It's easily missed as it's the same colour as the main bar.
