Is this a bug? Canceling troop building does not give back the resources.

I had several build orders in the barracks when I got some steel swords from a trade. I wanted to build some soldiers first so I cancelled the builds that where waiting, expecting the resources I put in them to return. I only got the settles back, the brew and weapons I did not get back. Was this a glitch/bug or a design feature? If it is a desgin feature please add a warning as it is not obvious that this will happen.

did u try refresh client? sometimes game is a bit slow in calculating everything in these cases- usually a refresh solves it

Even the following day I did not have the resources back. I think even 3 days later I did not have them back. I had a lot of cavalry wating to be constructed(several days of creating horses).

Is it possible you overstocked the brew/weapons? If you queue something,fill the storehouse via production and then cancel, you lose the items from the cancel as they have nowhere to go (storehouse is full)

No, I never have a lot of brew or weapons as I am always building military .
