Hi Blooper,

For you information, the possibility of "blocking" with a general was not originally planned by the dev' team when coding the game. Therefor it was considered a bug and "fixed". I'm sorry if this makes your game more challenging and hope you understand that it was changed BECAUSE we bother ;)

Best,

I agree Blooper, not more challenging but more costly to the players who pay. Personally I give BB the finger everyday by playing for free ;)

Who sais blocking doesnt work anymore?
And what does blocking have to do with paying? You can block without paying :p

Yeah you can (maybe could, yet to confirm myself) block without paying but the point is if blocking has been "fixed", qoute BB_Azariel, then it costs everybody more resources. paying players more money and non-payers (me) more time and patience.

I am sorry but seems to me you do not understand how the game works when it comes to blocking. Suggest you try playing the game instead of buying the win.

I suggest you learn to comprehend what you read. Buying the win, you crack me up. Could this be yet another example of more money than brain cells !

then dont whine about paying cash should give you rights beside the ability to spend gems.

Also, I am sorry Aza, but your reply does not reflect the 'fix' made. Thus confirming dave here in his wrong assumptions

You make is sound as though this only effects non-paying customers, it effects everyone.

It's not costing you more in anything, it been balanced out because BlueByte felt the old methods being used were not costing us enough.
Give it time and the players will find new ways to combat this fix, they always do.

Heads up Nukar I do not and never will pay cash to play any game. Please note it was Blooper that reported blocking was stopped, Azariel confirmed then you stuck your contradicting hooter in. I merely pointed out that if blocking was fixed then it would cost NON PAYING PLAYERS, like myself, more time and patience which I have gained over the years dealing with bipolar busy bodies such as yourself.

Evidence in reply to F2P V Paying players.

Get a grip Nukar

Your patience is showing... Well not realy.
Its kinda worying you take yourself so seriously as a NON paying player benefitting from PAYING players. Without those this game would not exist.
Stop making yourself a victem here. Everyone has to deal with the new pathfinding. Rather see it as a challenge or move on.

I fail to see how it costs more money. More resources, sure. But not more money. With out time nothing gets done, if you don’t have the time then there is not much point in playing. As the game develops I would hope things are brought out that increase the time needed to play, ideally providing something entertaining when we do.

If an ATM goes wrong and starts giving customers double what they ask for, for free. When it gets fixed the customers don’t whine and complain the ATM got fixed they accept they got lucky and the bank repaired the problem.

Same has happened with the game movement mechanics. They were allowing less solider deaths then was meant to be done either by out right skipping or blocking so they got fixed a bit.

The problem isn’t that things got fixed it’s that map difficulty means nothing and all that makes a map hard is the unit loss count. Making some maps pointless to have in the game and other maps in some respects to good.

A whole new system for how we fight, get rewards and xp needs to be introduced imo. One that makes all maps viable to do and you get out what you put in based on troop loss.

This fix is only plugging a hole that let us in essence cheat the system that was previously in place. If anything it now lets us spend some time recalculating the fights in lieu of having nothing interesting to do in the game.

Blocking still works. I would add that if they actually stopped blocking the game would become a lot duller, it adds a level of risk reward I find entertaining.

I think the OP is complaining that on some maps since the update you can't skip some camps that you used to but hasn't articulated it particularly well.

Blocking still works, just not in the same way as before. It's just a matter of timing and sending the right general with the right troops at the right time.

The OP Question has been responded to, closing thread.

Blocking was never intended to be part of the game so was not a consideration in the update, to my knowledge it is still possible to block however due to changes in pathing the blocks used before may no longer work.
