What is best to orientate my strategy, during that period?

I am level 22-23, just mentioning it.
Pretty much everything will be over by then , mines, fish-meat deposits, farms, etc.

I am thinking of building up my stores of low-grade resources, and slowly converting them to the higher possible matterial, example, steel swords.

If you stay offline for more than 24hours the game freezes so that you can go on vacations and such

What if i log in just for 10minutes, after lets say 10days.
I get another 24h of game time?

Yes you would. Also if a friend looks/buffs your island you will reset the timer as it's considered being active (apparently - I've not been on holiday yet!)
