Is there a reason the game does not start?

The starting routine goes as far as the empty "Tip of the Day" window and just stops. Am I missing something?
I had to clear the entire FireFox cache and cookies for a different issue. Could this be the reason?

A day later and the game still does not start. I still get only the empty window and it just stops with the message at the bottom saying "done".

I tried the same with a different, totally new and uncluttered browser type and get the same result. The massage at the bottom, however, tells me that I am on GameServer03/amf;jsessionid and a loooong number.

Do I give up or is there something I can look up or do?

May I ask which browsers you used?

Have you tried updating your flash player as well? If the problems persists, then please contact support here (http://www.thesettlersonline.com/en/help-and-support).

Yes, I've reduced to FlashPlayer 10.3 and then back to 11.3.

I have contacted support and a very helpful person is racking his brains what can be wrong on my PC.

One week later and no progress. I can't load the game and have no idea why!

hi to all,i tried to contact the support but i can't...so,i cannot play,every 2 minutes i need to refresh ...i use google chrome,but i tried with different browsers,i cleared all my cookies and caches but still i cannot play and if i try to send a mail to support i'm blocked,there is no mail sent in my mailbox and no reply mail...every 2 minutes i see: "contact server failed" and i have to refresh ...with other games i have no problem...can you help me,please,because another 3 friends-we are from Italy-have the same problem...thks

I had this issue today when I first tried to load using Firefox, however if you close down every other window and then the refresh button it loads up without issue.
