View Full Version : Balanced flour production bug in the Economy viewer!

Hello, I have a perfectly balanced wheat production. I have 4 mills 2x further from the storage house that the 2 bakeries. The production timings are as follow:
2x Bakery - 3:24
4x Mills - 6:48
So for 6:48 minutes I produce and consume 4x(building lvl) wheat. But in the economy I get this:

if you add the left column and then add the right column subtract right from left you are left with -2

I know I am left with -2. The thing is that maybe they should add a floating point and a 1 or 2 digits after that. And that way it will be equal! It should say 317.5 or something...
I wish I would have seen this earlier as I'm having the same problem.
Lets look at the details:
1xL3 Bakery with production time 3:24 consumes 3 Flour + 6 Water to produce 3 Bread
2xL3 Mill with production time 6:48 consumes 6 Wheat to produce 6 Flour
Using mathematics, its clearly seen that 2 x 3:24 = 6:48 (Fact)
therefore 2 x 3 Flour + 6 Water consumed = 6 Flour + 12 Water to produce 6 Bread in 6:48 (Fact)
resulting with 2 Mills at 6:48 perfectly matching up 1 Bakery at 3:24 given the same levels (Fact)
but in TSO this is not the case, the consumption of flour is -1 per level of bakery and considering the in game stated details and basic mathematical facts, there should only be 0 stated in the economy tab and not -1 per level of bakery which suggests an internal coding error with a decimal in the production/consumption code and not an integer.
*NB*
Before the current update it was -1 per bakery given equal level mills
For the current update it is now -1 per bakery level given equal level mills.
