Well is it really worth all the out lay costs?? gold mine..gold smelter..gold coinage...all the coal etc?? you tell me??:

yes as it saves you a ton of coal trades

Yes. And always buff your gold productions (mines, smelters and coinages) to maximize output.

It's only worth it if you can keep all gold mines, smelters and coinages buffed around 18+ hours a day.

yes buffing is a must hard to do 24&7 but 18 hours a day is good and not hard to do if you dont forget

It is also only really worthwhile if the cost of rebuilding goldmines does not worry you anymore.

if you have more then enuf tools hwp and marble then makeing gold production is nice just have in mind it cost allot of granit and ewp to upgrade them or a bunch of lisences if you keap them at lvl 1

Buff 18hrs a day....lol...so the answers no....never the less, I,ve found a answer, after setting up a gold mine, 2 smelters, and 1 coin mint ..i just dont renew the mine when its depleted.costs are too high so, i use trade to earn gold coins[ buy resources low sell high ] and buy the gold ore ..working well..buying most things i need now..thanks for all comments..
