No Chat Server??

What happened? We were all chatting away happily then it started failing on us one at a time until we were reduced to mailing each other!!

And another thing.. Around the same time nobody in my friends tab showed as being online, despite the fact I had just been chatting with them seconds earlier!!

So to summarise.. No chat and no way to see if friends and guild members are online!! Apart from that, its a nice day haha.

Because the chat server is down it can't pick up which people are online, therefore it will show them all as offline

i wish they would fix it already my economy is suffering as i cant trade water so i can make bread or brew :( , or at least response so we know they know there is a problem

This response should have been posted almost two hours ago.
I would rather hear 'we are trying to fix it' than hear nothing.
Think of your paying customers and keep them informed.
Be transparent with your customer base rather than ignorant or secretive.

Letting people know what is happening early prevents negative feedback and keeps the trolls at bay.

In the mean time player mail and player to player trade still works (is a bit long winded having a conversation via mail) so if you need to talk to people or trade you can still do it via mail or using a IRC chat room as someone else suggested.
