Recovery Time battle hard general

I play a lot of VTV, where at the end, my battle hard general/veteran had to recover.
The last view days i think the recovery time is much longer then the normally 2 hours.
Today i placed an stopwatch after my battle hard general/veteran comes wounded back and has to recover.
After exactly 2 hours i went back to my island and want to do my last kills.
My battle hard general/veteran needed 20-25 min extra to recover.

How is this possible ?
