I have been trying all day with no joy. Does anyone know if this is a server problem or I have contracted the game-ending 'lockout bug' that some peeps have been subjected to lately?

Hi, this is not the 'lockout bug' as you call it, but it is rather nasty.
Contact support straight away, so they can find what crashed your zone, and put it right for you.

The bug you described only occurs in particular circumstances, I believe BB_Dantesama will elaborate on it when more is known.

Please try restarting your computer, check for any updates and clear your web browser cache.

If your still presented with an error message, contact support and give them a detailed report :).

Ohh a thread that's not actually been locked on this topic! I raised a ticket Thursday night about the error zone issue and I still can't get in and annoyingly I put my 8 gold mines active that night so they'll prolly be empty by the time I get in. I didn't get a response on the ticket other than they are looking into it. The post I did make on the forum got insta-locked by BB.

Can I please just ask for gods sake, delay the Christmas event till after this issue is resolved for everyone. You know there's a problem for some people and there's currently no solution so don't make it worse by bringing the event in and having people miss out on it.

i have 'locked zone' in my main island, cant go ingame..... will be stuck out all weekend whit all productions runing unbuffed.... (really hoping not, if this happens its a good week lost in resorces..............may need rethink if it worth staying...............

funny, after i made my post, i realised a 'coincidence' in the zone crash errors, alot of ppl complain it appened around 11pm... whit days, and a week+ distance, this was aproximatelly the time i got my problem too

Same here for me, mainisland zone error, on northisle, can´t visit the island to get buffed either, can send trade requests. :-(

I seem to be the only person with server zone crashed from sandycove. I am really having to consider wether i will carry on or not the last 2 weeks have been a nightmare logging in now this, i have money in this game just hope BB can sort it out soon. There is no way i am restarting from lvl 0 again.

my game is very unstable today, game has crashed 5 times in 2 hours grrrrrrrrrr.

whole weekend ..... all buildings running unbuffed... gold mines destroyed..stocks depleted by now i assume, or will be on monday...its a huge setback.......

Still can't get in here either, been no access now since Thursday night. I forgot that after 24 hours it all stops so there's a chance I've only lost 24 hours worth of buffs on gold mines. Though I suspect all the wheatfields and wells will have gone in that time also, which will be fun to rebuild...not.

i've had this problem before, it was fixed the day after i got in touch with support..

i've played for another week or so fine with no problem, on satday 1/12/12, i had an adventure active and my gold production was turned on..

i had the message again.. server zone error.. this is the second time now..

my storehouses will be empty now and i know i'm not the only person who it's happened to and yet we're getting nothing back in return for all these problems..

in the past i've paid money for gems.. i know for a fact it wont happen again

i have had the same problem since 1st December, friends tell me they cannot even visit my island either. so annoying. hopefully there will be a permanent fix to this problem once and for all.

there is a minimum rule of courtesy, to respond to all this complains

I dont`t expect apologies, they don`t make the game better, but shows minim of respect to all the players who spend time and money on their game

all weekend was nobody here, maybe a few mods, but they can`t resolve all this trubble

TSO technical team is absent...I played many games, but there it was a real feedback when problems occured...I know that`s only a game, but us, players we are real, and our time and money are real too

Meanwhile our islands fall apart, our guilds go without leaders and our login bonuses cannot be collected.
I am one of those people who have spent real money on this game. Come on BB! please sort this mess out.

well just coming in to day 4 i can login at least but chat play not a chance gutted that all my hardwork has been in vain some of my friend have told me my island is like a graveyard no sign of my generals so i guess they have gone to well gutted not even a answer to my ticket ???

48 hrs now with server zone crashed contacted support guess what NOTHING standard response saying we only work monday to friday, WELL gues what it is monday get home from work with no email response all day to my ticket just thought i would check anyway took 5 mins to load homepage another 5 mins to get to log in and and what do i see an advert for the retail pack REALLY you want people to put even more money into a game they have already put money into just to see a message saying server zone crashed. Get real BB sort out your immediate problems before trying to sell me something that at the moment is absolutely useless

Another day- can still not get in - still no respond from support. Im going away for 7 weeks this weekend, i might consider not coming back, this is too stupid.

I understand that they cant have a full staff in the weekends, but they didnt manage to fix anything yesterday either. Comon there are so many games out there i can spend my money on, if they want my money i expect them to show me the respect and actually respond and give us any information on whats going on. Some people can log on- why cant we ????

If this patch tonight works then I'm going to see how the Christmas event goes, if it stays stable then I'll stick with it though if I get a repeat of no access (now at 5th day no access) then I'm considering just wiping the island. I want to play, I really do like this game but I'm just wasting my time now reading forums, trolling and not getting anywhere. It's all well and good BB saying they're working on it but 5 days now is ridiculous.

My big concern though now isn't the time already gone it's the potential lack of support we'll be getting over the Christmas period coming up so if it goes wrong again (that's if this patch works) then it could be even longer no access as they'll be all off on their hols and the last thing I want to do is waste day after day clicking "try again", clearing cache etc to no avail.

Pity, this was a fun game, could have sold well on release. I for one will not be buying it because of the steam powered servers and dos OS data base ! Agree with others on here, it's gone from a bit frustrating to a joke.

I have accounts on 2 different servers, (glutton for punishment I suppose) last night 1 server took 3 hours to get into, tonight its the other server I can't get into, The weekly maintenance just seems to make matters worse, but what I don't understand is how some players can log in without difficulties and others can't at the same time

Well, im back on track now, but are missing 4 days of adventuring. approx. 80000 xp :-( loot from 15-20 adventres, and a lot of rebuilding of wells and farms, and absolutely no form of compensation from BB. not even a reply from my ticket. That is just so much bad karma.

So, I have tried three different internet connections, four different machines and 2 different bowsers. I have tried making a new account, this one works fine BUT it can not visit my good old Owodk Island. Im thinking it must be the server my Island is located upon, I think I once noticed that Owodk is located at some bb001 server and the new one is at a bb002 or something like that.

Still no updates from admin, thats kind of sad.

if resetting is the only option i'm quitting. I've been logging on every day since march, made lots of progress and had my warehouses filled... If i want to reset my account from time to time, I can always play on the testserver.
Hope they can fix it really soon...

I started getting this message on Saturday, I know I will be locked out until Monday but I wanted to suggest that if there is an error in the zone, that all buildings should be turned off automatically if possible?
Maybe a fail safe for the future?........ this couldn't have happened at a worse time to me but life must go on :)

Were you compensated in any way? reason I ask is that I have bought £30 of gems over the last few months.
When mine got locked out it was during a trade and straight after I was making a load of buffs, spare settlers etc in the provision house so I am assuming that I bottle necked by clicking so many times without letting the game catch up.
I seen a lot of others have had a fix without having to reset the whole account, I think you were harshly done over there and if you did not get any compensation (depending on level too) for your losses, then that is ridiculous on their part.

If you reset your account, you'll be level 1 again but you will get all your gems back.. i have the same error message, the last maintenance fixed it.. for 6 hours, i got the message again.. i'm in touch with support daily, they're having to delete the ' error ' on my account eachday, but it comes back daily. They can find the error, remove it but it allways seems to come back..

I find it's when it's lagging and im traveling back and to from adventures or other people islands i get the error message.. i've been given the option to reset my account but im nearly level 39 and got my island/production level now with many level 5 buildings, so i will wait for a fix, it it means me not gaming when i want and only when they can fix the problem, i'd rather wait then reset.. hopefully they'll sort it soon.

when you reset your account, you get all purchased gems back, my account was reset on 5th december, still working at the moment. on the up side the 2nd time round is alot easier and quicker than the first. i`m lvl 26 already.

Yes, well I won't do that, I'm level 38 & have spent incredibly much time building up my settlement, had lots of resources in stocks, lots of adventures waiting too.
I was actually at the point that it became more fun to play; but then it crashed. So I'm keeping my hopes up it gets fixed.

Hi, no you're not the only one.. i've had the message for around 3 weeks now, support can remove the error, but within 24 hours it's back and i cannot play, they can find the block on my zone, remove it but it keeps on coming back.. i've been given the option to reset my account which support think will fix the problem but you'll be level 1 again.
There's 1 good think about resetting your account.. you get all your gems back but loose all your xp, buildings, gens, jolly's, nobles which have been bought, personally i'm going to wait till they fix the problem.. i've got to fare into the game to reset now..

Restarting your computer.. it's got nothing to do with your internet or your browser cache.. please stop blaming the problem on that.

I've had the error message on/off for the past 3 weeks. i get the message, contact support, they can remove it for it to only come back within 12 hours..

It needs to get fixed soon or people will stop playing, people like me who has spent money on this game..

I understand how annoying this issue can be (it's happened to me too...), the team is still working on fixes...

The thing is with patience is that it runs out, over the weekend I was not to bothered because I thought it would get fixed by Monday 8pm GMT before the guys clock off in the office...... I don't have a reply nevermind a fix.
I am starting to feel snubbed.
