Is it allowed to say something like "You're a #@$!" ? I checked the PEGI website but couldn't find their guidance on this issue.
What about bullying? If someone makes a polite request and then a dozen people start mocking it, is that "abuse" as mentioned in the CoC?
Definitive answers preferred to opinion :) Thanks for reading

Hello Panimu,
Profanity in any form (censored or not) is against The Settlers Online code of conduct, Blue Byte set the rules not PEGI :).
Any cyber bullying/harassment should be reported to support immediately with evidence (screenshot).
Please read Rules and Code of Conduct (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/14811-The-Settlers-Online-Code-of-Conduct-Forum-and-In-game-Chat-Rules).

Hello Panimu,
It's about common sense, profanity/bad language should not be encouraged of course.
Everyone should be playing in a safe and "swear" free environment yet reality is a different matter.
Some things can be taken out of context (a joke, just silliness) so we have to be careful before applying a rule.
The issue here is that we cannot have a rule for every single mistep one may take, it would be unbearable for the player base.
Remember that when profanity occurs, you may use the /ignore function.
I edited the rules to make it a little clearer though.
Thank you Panimu and Sinister-King.
