a specific setller server for a country???

hi!
mm i saw that there special server's for player's from some country's; is it not the fun of a online game that you play with different people from different country's & cultures?
Think special server's for sudden group's of players is a downgrade of the online gaming concept! Why bb did this?

Hope pvp will start soon! it was promised to start around now; but i did not see anything about it on the english or german forum's!

Hope bb will shine some light on those 2 subject's

1) Unfortunately, although this has always been the English/European server, some people just weren't happy with this situation, and either demanded their own 'enclave', or refused to abide by the current rules, even after BB went out of their way to provide them with channels where they could chat in their own language.
You're quite right, it is nice to be able to play with people from different places, but this has made running these 3 servers extremely difficult. The reason the main global chat and help are in English is that a) The majority of players can understand English at least as a second language {They certainly understood it enough to sign up!}, and b) It would be impossible to moderate any other way.
If everyone respected that these rules are there for a good reason, then indeed you would get the ideal situation that you and many others wish for.


2) The eternal question, I wouldn't hold your breath whilst waiting for PvP. Historically, 1 large part of the Settlers market has always favoured a 'micro-management' game over the more traditional Settlers styles (Like 1 and 2). Unfortunately, although it may seem to make economic sense for BB to appeal to this large section, it doesn't neccessarily make for as good a game as it could be, I hope that one day they'll realise this, and make the game that the world outside Germany is crying out for.

Also i wanne know when pvp start's or when there will be new adventures to play; next to thoe 2 questions i 'm curius when we can progress beyond lvl50!

BB_Dantesama has promised that an updated dev diary will be available 'very soon' which should clear some things up.
