I cannot play the game, i log on fine but when i click play it starts to load and then i get the above error. any help please?

Try clearing your web browser cache and make sure your Flash player and web browser are up to date.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, please contact support (http://www.thesettlersonline.com/en/help-and-support) and they will assist you further :).

Having exactly the same problem at the moment. Cleared cache, tried on two different pc's and stilll cant log in. :confused:

Will be 24 hours soon and I'm on the "last" camp of SFTR, the first time I've tried it. Invited a player to the loot spot, was waiting for him to make his kill and i lost connection and could not and have not been able to log in since, really frustrating....

Have sent in a ticket to support, hope you can help me BB. :(

Great, My sftr times out today..... On last camp waiting for lootee to make that kill. Still can't log in after nearly three days. Totally gutted.

Have the same problem! And was waiting to the adventure should ending by it self and now it has. The problem is, I lost all my generals and soldiers. The dont come back. Maybe in the futher i will meet them again as deserters in some adventure!?

seems todays maintenance has made the problem wsorse, try turning the control the other way.

todays maintenance it is a joke,a very bad joke!!!you annouced hours ago that the "Urgente maintenance complete" but still can't log in,still show server in maintenance and even this forum wasn't working...I'm fed up of this daily suppose to be maintenance,I'm fed up for the miss of respect you BB/TSO team show for your costumers/players,they or us are the only reason for you have business/jobs,without us you got nothing at all,if no one pay for your the jobs you do like this online game you will have no choice but close down everything,this it is a great reason for you treat us with all the respect and what you do?Log in issues every single day since last wednesday,a full week of a mess,saying nothing to us about what it is going on.We are everyday expecting improvements that never come in to the game,all the issues are the same every single day.

Dear Settlers,

We have been working on several improvements to increase website and game performance.
Our first step was to improve an important database process by 50%. This was done today already and will help to handle the huge amount of data. Furthermore, we have increased the zone limits back to normal. This means that more players are able to join the game again.
This maintenance has not solved all problems of course, there are still a few important steps we need to take in the next few days.
We will give you a detailed update regarding the next steps tomorrow.

And I can't log in,still shows maintenance,even log after you TSO team posted in facebook that the maintenance was done.
I'm asking you all what do you expect from us?that we keep playing the clown and pretend nothing it is happening?

Maybe they should just turn the servers off and call it a day, everything they seem to do makes it worse, can't get on newfoundland server at all now

Great maintenance you have done... Now the web and forum's are even slower than before and it's not even possible to play the game...

managed to get in earlier, but the forum is as far as I can get now, I have an account on a different server and can't get in to that one at all

This problem has been occurring for some weeks now, and paying what I do to play this game, seems somewhat stupid, as I play to have fun, not to get aggrevated!

Your many appologies and promises to fix it, just makes it worse, as You are loosing my last thrust.

Why are You accepting new players, when You know You aren't able to provide Your current customers, what they pay for? Well I know the answer, money talks!

I'm out by Friday, if this problem istn't solved once and for all.

As the many others who have complained, I exspect my reply to be errased and a personal mail, in order to keep the "noise" down.

This morning I managed to get back to the game,not a single change on anything,all the issues are exactly the same.Hours of server down for "Urgent maintenance" that you said was complete long hours before the servers were running up again for exactly nothing!!!.Now I have time on adventures running as there was no maintenance,everything it is exactly as the servers were running and we could play,but you know very well,because you caused the problem,that we couldn't play so the minimum you could do was to pause everything on the servers till we be able to play.
Showing a bit more of respect to your costumers wouldn't hurt you BB or TSO!!!

in the morning sthe game runs on the whole ok atm, so either you have browser issues or something else- it is afternoons and evenings when loads go up that the service breaks down to unplayable

This morning, even blocks were doable so close to normal for me

Yup, i've had same problem, since the 'urgent' maintenance i've not been able to get online, before it i was able to get on and play, but now i get the same message ' server zone crashed, an error was detected ' i've paid money to play this, if they carry on messing people around they're going to lose players

Hi guys ,

I understand how you guys feel, I am also very sorry you feel this way.

These are legitimate complaints.

There are still a few steps before the game is fully operational and functional again.

I will keep you updated on further information. (We should get some today)

I have a friend who plays in sandycove also, he can get online and play no problem, he's tried to visit my island and he get's the error message.. is there something wrong with my island or my account ????

Was a nightmare Joy... (Hope you are well by the way)

The maintainanance fixed it for me yesterday. I rejoined SFTR with 20, yes twenty minutes to spare before the adventure auto finished, was very lucky but it really stressed me out.

As a paying customer I expect better. I appreciate problems but cold hard cash changing hands does make the irritation more pronounced.

Well, last maintaince really reversed the old situation, lots of lags, but you can login normally. Send my explorers out on a 12h trip at 7.40 local time and now they will return back at 19.59 or so. Lost 19mins :( Means I have to send them away for 6hours or otherwise they will come back at a useless time in which i can't log in. :( Oh well, getting used to have to send them on a short trip every week now just to be able to send them away for 12hours trips :

and no friend can visit me to help in my absence

none will answer me to the ticket support :"We have received your request and will respond to it as soon as possible. Our opening hours are 11am to 8pm Monday to Friday" because none works in weekend, so I must say good by to my generals who are in an open adv, I can`t cancel it, and send home my troops at least

I've been online for a few hours, then this message suddenly popped up, I njust hope I don't loose too much on my gold mines, are BB going to compensate there loyal customer base for all the recent problems?

to be frank, I don`t think so:mad:...my generals are in adv, and I understood that they would be lost forever if I can get into my account to cancel the adv...

I lost my daily compensation for loging, today I ought to get 45 diamonds...they are history now...:(

your generals and troops, in worst case, will be waiting you in home island after adventure expire, tho some of us have alot of gold mines on.. whole weekend... will be huge 'expense'....

yeah cleared cache all updates up to date, in middle of adv and cant get in, contacted support and got post *we will deal with it and enjoy the game* !!!!!! are you trying to be funny cos you are so NOT. really not happy with settlers at the moment been playing 9 months and now cant play at all

oh yeah and sent all gens to dp and now cant get into it so have 2vets 3bh and a reaper missing + troops as i cant visit it or cancel it

I'm sorry to say... STOP blaming every player browser, the problem is on the server side.
One of my guild member has the same issue, cannot log in (zone error) and if any other guild member try to visit his island get kicked out from the game reading the same error.
He wrote a message to support last thursday and they only send the autoreplay telling that they are open monday to friday. Today is tues and still no answer.
This is not a game, looks more like a JOKE.
