View Full Version : Adventure Guides by Hellenic Pride
My dear settlers hola!
This is Haggarth speaking, represending Hellenic Pride Guild. As we all know, after the last Dev's Diary of the game, now we have to complete Side Quests, wich sometimes have adventures with a limit of maximum losses in specific units. This has as a result, alot of the old guides that we allready use are not proper or helpfull to achive our goals.
An evaluated team of Hellenic Pride, tried to find a solution, working on these side-quest adventures. Today I am in a position to present you the first work we completed, the Island of Pirates with maximum losses for Rercuits less than 500. Of course this is the very first time that we tried something like that, and we don't expect this to be perfect.
Best regards

Island of Pirates
The Island is the first adventure, that Hellenic Pride adventure team, found a way to make it with losses less than 500R. Of course we are lossing some better units, but there are tips in the left side, so you can choose in every camp if you want to sacrifise special units, or more Rercuits.
If you don't want to play it in less tha than 500R version, please just select the max R combinations for every camp.

Well done Haggarth! Hope many people will find it useful. Less losses in R and S than Cotax's guide for example. M and C are more easily to make and the losses aren't that much.
Horseback
Horsback is the second adventure, that Hellenic Pride adventure team designed, for the needs of the side quest "Complete Horseback with max losses 500R".
In this version we have it with 407R 258B max losses, with no blockings inside. Less units losses in total than other guides, a lot of bows sacrifice, but bows are cheapper units than Rercuits, at least for the game economy in our simulators.
Version: Simple (Non-blocking, non-BHG, non-veteran)
Generals Recomended: 1 Tavern General
Units Needed: 407R 259B 155S 130LB (Or A)

Not a bad idea sacrificing bowmen against the cataphracts to fulfil the "lose fewer than 500R" quest. :)
Mind if I add your setups as alternatives in my guide? :)
Totaly less units losses than other guides
Or at least on the same level... :)

People that publish their guides here (including Hellenic Pride) they do it cause they like share the knowledge, and cause they like to help other players to play the game "correct". I imagine that you know that better than me, cause you have published lot of your guides. I do not deny to you, that I steped in to your guides too, till I learn the game, and one way or the other, I had inspire from them.
So now, if you personally, are finding our troops combination sutisfαctory enough, that means to us, that our guides are good and carefull designed. And that is a honor to us. ;)
Feel free to use any part you want from our setups, if you find it interesting. After all, a lot of players they will be help from that.
Hellenic Pride Adventure Team will be back in a couple of days, presenting you two new guides for side quests, Dark priest with less tha 500R losses, and less than 300R losses. We hope that a lot of players will find 'em interesting too
PS. Please forgive my English if any mistakes inside... I usually give other players to translate my posts in English, now I am alone :p

Hello NTARNTANIAN,
English only please.
Thank you,
Sinister-King
Please in English my friend, this is an English Language forum.
If you don't have 3 generals there are two solutions.
a. You can buy generals with coins in Tavern. No hard to find and spare a few coins.
b. You can attack with your general, and then wait 4 hours for your general to recover and continue attacking.
Don't forget we give Recomended generals, not necessary to have all those. It is just that with them you can complet it at once, with no delays.
Hello there!
Lots of you send mail to us, asking if we will present a guide for x-mass adventure too. Answer is no, ans reason is simple... There are a lot of guides for x-mass adventure, some of them very good. We, as a guild, prefer tage's guide (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/16332-Killste-Collected-Adventure-Guides-by-Various-Authors?p=201044&viewfull=1#post201044) that we believe that it oversubscribe our demans.
Still as a guild, we are working for a tavern general edition, for adventure "The end of the World", and we will be happy to present you at Dec 10 2012. Just before that, tomorrow, we will give you 2 editions, or 3 if possible, for the side quest "Complete the Witch of the swamp adventure lossing less than 500R". One edition lossing some Militia, one with saving Militia but lossing Bowmen, and maybe one with less lossing in horses.
See you soon mates....
Witch of the swamp
Aloha settlers!
Here there are, two (2) brand new versions of Witch of the swamp. One for lossing 63 Militia and maybe 'till to 4 Soldiers (90 Cavalary of course), and for saving M, a second version lossing 93 Bows, to limit our losses of M (only 31 lost max).
Are you ready...?

Nice guides, I especially like the "less than..." versions for quests.
A suggestion:
Link (of at least list) your adventure guides in the first post, so we don't have to check through the whole thread to see if you have what we're looking for. Not much of a problem now, but the larger this thread gets, the more helpful that will be.
iam not sure this is a correct path, unless dueto lvl i have a diferent. . .
Can we use the LB instead of A ?

Thanks for the suggestions mate, much appreciate...
We will try to correct this at the next few days

If you look guide carefuly, you will see garisons in there. We playied this path with those set-ups before posting.
We always test our guides to us before inform others players here. Now before anything else, I can assume you, that untill at least level 43, this path is working.
I surely don't know if something is chaching in higher levels.
Can we use the LB instead of A ?
I am afraid no my friend...
Still, there is a way to hit with LB, but it needs different waves. We are working to post guide with LB's, even today if possible.

Hi, here is my Veteran set-up with average losses for EotW:
needed: x-bows (A), S, R and B (I think Soldiers can be replaced with Militia most of the times but this should be checked with the simulator)

30 tribesman, 30 shaman, 100 jaguar warrior --> 20R, 5S, 25B, 200A --> 15R, 9B
50 tribesman, 50 shaman --> 35R, 215S --> 28R
100 jaguar warrior --> 200A --> 0
50 shaman, 100 jaguar warrior --> 5R, 15S, 30B, 200A --> 15B
40 tribesman, 40 shaman, 40 jaguar warrior --> 25R, 225S --> 22R

Hi guys - thank you for all the work - just played through EOTW using your Xbow guide and it worked exactly as stated =) Brilliant job - you are now my go to guides =)
Some people are complaining about the path... well, the path works gyus, still with one detail inside... you must attack camp 13 first, for seeing the right path to camp 14 after... or else you will be seeing wrong path with your general... please, take a look to this pictures, to understand...

Horseback
Hello again, Marry X-mass to all!!!
A new version is ready for the Horseback and that is a full block version this time. We only have to hit 1 Camp (Camp 1) beside the leader camps, and from there on, we can either avoid or block all the other camps. Very good version for players that they have one BHG or Reaper general, and they want to save their untis. Enjoy!!!
Version: BHG/Reaper general (1 Type "A" and 2 Type "B" blocks, or 3 Type "A" blocks)
Generals Recomended: 1 BHG or Reaper General and 2 Tavern generals (or 3 Tavern if we go for 3 Type "A" blocks)
Generals minimum: 1 BHG or Reaper General and 1 Tavern ganeral, but 2 times we will wait for the general to recover.
Also we can do it only with 2 Tavern generals if we don't have BHG/Reaper gen, and will try for 3 Type "A" blocks.
Units Needed: 376R 130B 155S 130LB (Or 130A, or/and 78A can help if we have them)
http://img585.imageshack.us/img585/5350/pinakasmonadwn.png
Note: It is strongly recomended to try this guide with Type "B" blocks, and not Type "A", and the reason is to avoid possible server lags. Lot of times it happens to delay the start of the 1st battle, and so your second general may be intercepted. You can always delay the attack of General B for 1 or 2 seconds if you are trying Type "B" blocks, and that may save you lot of times from possible lags.
Before starting the guide, take a general look at this map, in order to get an idea where the G positions are.
http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/1019/allgeneralspositions1.png
We start by transfering our 1st Tavern general here:
http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/4390/firstgenpos.png
From there we attack Camps 1 and 2, as in photo
Pls attack Camp 1 with 47R-153S, and Camp 2 with 200R:
Camp 2 can be also attacked with 50R-150S or 49R-151E.
http://imageshack.us/a/img707/591/firstgencorrectattacks.png
Then move your BHG/Reaper general behind the rocks:
http://imageshack.us/a/img443/958/secgenpos.png
From there attack Camp3... pls make sure the red grids from the nearby Camps are not highlithed.
Attack with 45R-155S:
(Or 44R-156E if you have)
http://imageshack.us/a/img689/8200/secgenrightattack2.png
From the same position use your Tavern general to attack Camp 4 (Block Attack) using only 1R.
Please notice that our BHG/Reaper general will not start his attack untill the tavern gen reaches his 5th step, and that is the blue flag:
http://imageshack.us/a/img803/4839/firstblockgena1.png
With our BHG/Reaper gen we will attack Camp 5 using 130B-70LB or 122B-78A:
http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/744/firstblockgenb1.png
The correct time to attack with our BHG/Reaper gen is when Tavern gen that goes to Camp 4 steps the flag, or 1-2 seconds later:
http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/196/firstblockrightattack1.png
Now we move our BHG/Reaper gen to this position to attack Camp 7:
http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/4113/secblockgenaz.png
Move your 2nd Tavern general here.
http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/9329/secblockgenb.png
From there attack with General A Camp 6 with 61S, and with General B (BHG/Reaper) Camp 7 with 117R-83S.
You can also try Type "A" block using General A with 1R, so there is no need for General B to be a BHG/Reaper General.
Send two Generals one after each other, starting with General A:
http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/6711/secondblockattack1.jpg
Send a Tavern General here:
http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/1980/thirdblockgena.png
And your BHG/Reaper here:
http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/7196/thirdblockgenb.png
From there attack with General A Camp 8 with 30S, and with General B (BHG/Reaper) Camp 9 with 80R-120S.
You can also try Type "A" block using General A with 1R, so there is no need for General B to be a BHG/Reaper General.
Send two Generals one after each other, starting with General A:
http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/4439/thirdblockattack1.jpg
With General B, just attack Camp 10 and adventure is completed.
Use 36R- 34S or E- 130LB or A.
Warning: There is a small possibility of losing 1 S or E. If you don't want to risk, you can attack with 37R and 33S or E.
You are losing 1 more R, but you don't risk your Soldier or Elite:
http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/4717/finishing1.png
Enjoy and have fun!!! :)
Thank you so much for the less than guides. Really really great! :)
If two people share a 2 person quest such as Dark Priests, with the target of losing under 500 recruits, is it under 500 losses for the two players ? If so , how can one see what the other player lost ?
Thank you so much for the less than guides. Really really great! :)
Thank you so much my friend... we always try for the best!!!
If two people share a 2 person quest such as Dark Priests, with the target of losing under 500 recruits, is it under 500 losses for the two players ? If so , how can one see what the other player lost ?
If both of you lost 500R there, quest is not OK... you need to lose maximum 499 both of you, and not every of you...
If you lose 499R and your friend loses 1, then quest is again not OK for neither of you...
Now, if you have a quest copmlete DP losing less/or fewer 500R, you can play it either if you open the DP, or if you invited on someones else DP... quest will be confirmed in both cashes, if both of you lose less than 500R totaly.

3 trip 95R 90M 15S
