View Full Version : Why the silencing of interesting discussions??

I notice that the "why the slaughtering of natives" thread has been closed by mods. When amidst all the whining, there finally comes an interesting discussion...
I checked the rules of conduct, and as long as the thread is free of racism, "malign content" and "political propaganda", which it is, I see no reason why it should be shut down. Is there any chance, Sinister-King, that you may think this over twice and reopen the thread?

It is of course a potentially touchy subject, but as long as people behave, it serves to heighten the game experience. In my view, TSO has an obvious political side, simulating an expanding colonist. If this was indeed a game played by small kids, I´d almost call it political propaganda in itself. Particularly if we´re not allowed to discuss this side of the game! ;)
Luckily, it is easy to see the game through ironic glasses, which I have to do to enjoy the butchering and enslaving of all of the "free peoples" every day.

Cheers!

Sense of humor by-pass?

Says: "Do you have a Flag?" in best Eddie Izzard voice.

So you hi-light the reasons why the thread could be locked and then wonder why it is.
