problem with waiting quests

hi, i'm having trouble being able to complete quests that appear in the waiting quests section of the quest book. they require me to pay some resources to get the reward but there is not button to pay with when i have the resources to pay. is this a bug or do i have to pay these resources in a specific menu/section?

Quests in waiting are exactly that, a quest that is in the queue of quests. You need to do quests in the order of which they arrive like a bank teller dealing with customers waiting in line for an open position. Once you have done the current quest your quest queue list will update and move the quest queued after it into the current quest slot. Then you will be able to click the pay button

What all the quests or just the daily quest? I'm having the same problem and have completed the daily quest 2 days in a row but cannot access the waiting quest pay resources tab. Some of the side quests I'm accumulating can't be completed for some time.

Waiting Quests show what will be the next task to complete once you complete the current Daily Quest. As you get 1 quest per day the quest list allows you to stock up 1 other quest should you take more than 24 hours to complete the current quest. There have been some issues with them not coming available of late but if you have a daily quest to be done.. do it and the waiting quest will then update to become the new daily quest.

Not every daily quest is worth while completing as the rewards can be counter to your current interests. In these cases click the X next to the quest in the tab to cancel it and forfeit the rewards and the expense but move onto the next waiting quest.. assuming there is one waiting.

Guild quests can also appear in the waiting quest area too if you are in a guild to show those guild quests are waiting for the current guild quest to be done or cancelled.

Hi As I've already said above, I have completed the daily quest 2 days running and still can't pay resourses in the waiting quests. they just sit there until the next day , then disapear to be replaced by another that I can not complete. It's very frustrating. I've logged it twice and recieved no reply. I don't know what to do next.

A waiting quest can be:

a waiting daily quest
a waiting event quest
a waiting guild quest

If it was a waiting daily quest, finishing the active daily quest would have caused the waiting one to become active.
If not, then it was probably a waiting event quest, and you may have an active christmas event quest waiting completion...

Thanks Tage, how do you tell the difference, it doesn't say on the quest. it just says wait quest?

I've seen what you've described here in at least one other forum post here.. the above are to try and make sure that you understand the quest system (many are confused by the Waiting Quest items.. i know i was at first).. assuming that you are seeing Waiting Quests that never become active then you will want to go to the Help and Support section and raise a ticket for your problem and await a fix from the development team.

If the waiting quest has a reward of 10 presents, then at least it certainly is a xmas event quest :)
