Can't find my friend

My hubby plays settlers too and for some reason he cann't add me as a friend and i cannot add him. I tried sending him a friend request but i can't find his username and he is unable to find me. for the life of me i can't remember how i started to add friends. helpp pleae as i need him to help me complete a buff quest xxx

Chances are you are on different servers.
When you login to your accounts look at the browser's top bar (the very top bit of the browser and not just the game) make sure that you are both in the same server.
Mine for example says "The Settlers Online - Sandycove [Realm 3]".

Sandycove is my server name. This is a good place to start looking for answers anyways.

Edit: From your forum details i can see you are on the server "Northisle".

Afraid not.. if you do forum searches you'll see this is a longstanding issue.

You can contact support about it on the front page of the site and ask about moving one account but i believe the accepted wisdom is that to move servers the movers account has to be reset and they start from the beginning again (which would suck after todays rewards and all). Thats your best option for information as it's an issue for the developers rather than the MODerators on the forums.
