Longbowmaker bug

I have 1 longbowmaker but in the quest book sometimes it cames up that I finish a quest and then I realize that its a quest saying that I build a longbowmaker building..when I have the longbowmaker for a long time..this bug started after the new changes on the game...also having problems with the quest theodor gets attacked just dont know how to solve that !!???

I sent a message to tech support reporting this bug yesterday.
I told them that several of us are affected by this, I'm just not sure how widespread it is though.
I will report back what response I get

This annoying bug is still happening even after the maintenance release last night

Tech support tell me they are working on this and some other quest problems that have been reported.
When they find a fix it will come via the regular maintenance.

I have had it for at least 2 months and someone before me who did create a post, but as the forum has changed I'm not sure where it is now

I was hoping this bug would be fixed on the maintenance update, but that was cancelled, and there is no improvement on the bug fixes that replaced the update, can you please push this up the list as it's now several weeks since it was first reported

I was also thinking about sending a message to tech support reporting this bug, but I guess they know about it from several bug reports. One additional mail won't help anybody :-( .

Based on my experience this has something to do with server communication. In most cases it appears when I login or get some news like "You have successfully sold one lot".

Come on Devs... it's now 4 months since this bug was first reported.. it stopped me playing for the last 2 weeks, I've come back and found the bug is still there, it's so bad it comes back on nearly every 3rd press of my keys making the game unplayable, i voted for this game in the mmo's but now regretting my decision

I was also hoping to get rid of this annoying bug after the last update,
but it IS STILL THERE!!! :(:(:(

I agree with merryfox (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/21566-Longbowmaker-bug?p=213825&viewfull=1#post213825): I voted this game for the 2013 MMO awards but I tend to say it wasn't worthy. However the 120 Gems made me forgiving ;).

shouldn't be forgiving because they issued 120 gems, those where a thank you gift for doing them a favour now all we ask is the tech support show us some favour back and eventually fix this bug

I am having a similar problem, only its not with longbows... the quest is called "death to the leaders", i have seen that others reported this problem too.
Also i'm stuck with the quest "Tactician" mainly because i don't have any more bandit camps on my home zone...

They will place on TSO testing first then move it over to our server normally, this doesn't happen each week, but sometimes we'll get an update during maintenance.

I have tried to do the easter event BUT even before the game has finished loading i've had this same bug come up 5 yes 5 times, look at the date of this thread.. and compare it with the first time it was reported, I would like to play this game but i won't even bother letting it finish loading anymore,

still getting longbow makers saying it is complete and it does nothing was told to change building settings done this and nothing and i have not got a longbow makers any more when will you sort this out becoming a pain every time i do any thing this long bow makers comes all the time saying its complete tut tut just not good enough TSO

After reading 5 pages, i had the death to the leaders bug since i got back into the game 2 months ago after 1 year and a half inactivity, it was ok at the start i could just spam the button claim reward and it would go away for a few hours BUT when i got to the longbow quest (today 5/7/2013) it will never go away, lagging my pc and my browser therefor making it impossible to play this game, response from support, Deal with it (with nicer macro'ed copy/paste words). It doesn't compute in my mind such a bug would take longer than 7 minutes to get fixed, as easy as to TICK the quest as complete for players over a certain level in the game code, of course adding cheeky overpowered goodies to the gem shop is more important.
