nords with normal general

Does anyone have a good guide for Nords with normal general..... :confused:

Sid's old map does have the troop setups for this, but you'll have to rework it on the fly, because of the new pathing.
Use one of the up to date maps for the pathing, then take a look at Sid's garrison settings, you should be able to work a solution out.
But, I'd strongly advise getting a veteran general, or you are going to have a tough time with adventures like this one.

Yeah I know it can certainly be done with a normal general but the time it takes and the troops losses are very very high, its supprising how much having a vet with 50 extra troops in it does save troops but I know it can be done as a friend done it some months ago but it has been so long I cannot give you any more advice other than make sure that even if you do not have a vet you will need to have xbows and not just longbows or then I think it will be near on impossible, but as nogbad said above I think sidv's old map is the only one I have seen but it hasn't been updated with the new pathing, so a little care and attention I guess. If I find one as I will speak to my friend who doesn't have a vet also I will come back here and post what ever help I can but he isn't online right now so good luck.

thanks for informations, I have crossbows but the vet is just little too expensive for me.... probably I will do the nords later when I get one vet....
